Saigon Zoo & Botanical Gardens Ticket in Ho Chi Minh City

A must visit when you are in Ho Chi Minh. We went on a weekday afternoon and it was very laidback visit in a zoo. We got out passed 5pm but no one was rushing us to leave. We had fun interacting with the capybaras too for only 70k vnd (separate payment) and the lady there is very nice. Overall, you won’t regret visiting this and the entrance is very affordable.

first things first... yes some of the animals look a little skinny and very hot but.... that is literally the only negative I can find with this place. All of the animals were being fed when we arrived early in the morning. There is so much shade and a cool breeze even through the park. the flowers and gardens are gorgeous and there is literally thousands of photo opportunities around. all of the animals had adequate enclosures a d after speaking with some staff about an animal missing a limb they explained that most of their animals are rescues from Asian medicine farms, exotic animal farms and black market sales... so yeah they are a little bit different... but now they get a wonderful life out of a box. there are lots of babies around the park at the moment too. if you aren't one for a zoo sort of thing (animals in enclosures) then I suggest buying the tickets just to help the cause. there's also a little kid ride area. oh and get on the Ferris wheel. amazing views!!

Very good day spent in the zoo. We went on a Sunday so it was more crowded that usual. We skipped the ticket line which was good but if you want it a bit cheaper you should buy the tickets on site: 60,000vnd for adults

The zoo is an older one, but with so many animals it was a lot of fun for my family. The up close experiences was more than anywhere we've been before. You get to see the animals closer and feel like the experience is well worth it. All the animals look happy and healthy and we really enjoyed our time. We liked it so much this was our second time going. We came back because the zoo is so big that we saw all the stuff we missed the previous time. They have a park for the kids which makes it even better. This time around they had a fun show Also that my boys really enjoyed. We would definitely go back again. And the price is so reasonable! 🐘

The Saigon zoo was cute and my two boys had a great time! I like that there is multiple places for each animals. So if one of the animals was sleeping another may be and was awake. We got to enjoy seeing all the animals. Including seeing the giraffes up really close which I've never experienced. So overall it was a great time. Some of it was a little run down. But overall didn't matter cause my kids still really enjoyed it.

Fantastic experience! The variety of animals (especially the elephants , otters, giraffes and hyenas) was impressive. Pro tip: Book via Klook to bypass the queues. It’s very humid, so an umbrella and water are must-haves. Expect some animal odors, but it’s well worth the visit for a fun day out!

place is really huge. reached at 7.30am, perfect time as it’s not so hot. spent 3 hours at the zoo & left when the sun is high. perfect timing as recommended by klook testimonies. many types of animals, glad to support the zoo. will visit again to try their buggy rides. my toddler love the zoo animals. from girrafe, elephants, lions & tigers. beautiful! a lot of trees therefore a lot of covered and shaded areas. brought my 9mo baby with stroller. bumpy at some parts, overall bearable. looking forward to 2nd visit!

it is huge it also has a museum when u enter to left but that is another fee pretty cheap think about $10 aud for two of us or less, there is so much to do here we spent 3/4 day there the animals were cool some did seem exhausted but it was very hot n humid so that could be why some animals didnt have water or they had empty ponds i can only hope that its cause they rotate them around. but overall i highly recomend going here its got something for everyone and very cheap fun family activity loved it
