Elephant Experience on Phuket Beach by Lily Elephant Camp

This was an amazing experience. The staff where really nice, friendly and the elephants really seemed cared for and happy compared to others we had seen elsewhere trapped and tied in small enclosures on a roadside... I definitely recommend it here. These elephants where large and healthy, had plenty of food and care from the fabulous team. Our main guide was called Nice and such a great character, he had us laughing throughout as well as educating the group. The trip went as advertised and we paid a fair 600 bhat for our return trip as we where out of the pick up area. We where able to take our own photos which was great and they do have someone taking quality photos which you have to pay additional. The photos they took where stunning and a little pricy but the funds go towards the elephants care. We paid for the smallest package which was 1000bhat for 6 digital photos. I felt like we had plenty of time for each part of the visit - being told about each elephant, meeting them and their individual keepers, feeding them, being in the sea with them and then bathing them before going home. I enjoyed myself. I was the last customer there so I got to feed the elephants by myself. My guide was very nice, informative & communicated with me very well. Which was good for me because I’m a shy person & it helped me feel comfortable. He also took many photos & videos for me during the activity. The elephants eat fast so I got to just watch & pet them for a few minutes. It was a great experience!

It was a wonderful and invaluable experience. The rescued elephants here were originally used by tourism operators for rides, and some have deformed legs from carrying heavy tourists or are blind from being beaten with whips. Here, we prepare food for these elephants, feed them, play in the water with them, and brush their bodies. When they feel good, they flap their ears to show their joy. The guide explained, "The elephants here have worked hard for a long time, so we don't make them do any strenuous work here. (That's why we don't offer services like riding the elephants.) The elephants who come here live a life of just eating, playing in the water, getting washed, pooping, eating again, and sleeping." At the end, they saw us off, saying, "Thank you for helping to make the elephants happy." It's sad to think that there are still elephants suffering, but this activity allowed us to leave with only feelings of happiness and no guilt whatsoever. I am grateful to everyone at the conservation organization.

I had the most amazing day learning about the elephants before getting the chance to feed them, then playing with them and bathing them on their private beach!

I'm Thai who have been seeing many elephants from many place since I was a child. This place is not like anywhere I have visited. There's no chain nor ropes binding them at all. Everything is so natural. The care taker show deepest bonding and understanding towards elephants. They could share knowledge and answer our question so openly. This is my one of my lifetime memories that I would cherish. Elephants show no stress at all. They all are so kind like all of the staff at this sanctuary. Will definitely visit here again♡ This elephants sanctuary worth every support!

This was a really awesome experience. You can tell they really care about the elephants and they seem to be having a very happy life. Each elephant has its own handler and it was so nice not to see chains or ropes on them. Thier corrals are literally a rope. They could easily go wherever they want but they stay. You can tell there is mutual love and respect between the elephants and the handlers. It was amazing to just get to spend time with them. They seemed to really enjoy theirs baths and loved playing in the water. It was quite an experience to get to see them up so close. There is so much going on in their eyes and they all look so uniquely different and have their own personalities. The guides are great and very happy to take photos for you. They are also constantly taking professional photos and you get to look through them all and chose your favorites at the end and they send them digitally, which is nice. They had over 60 photos for us to look at. We chose the package of 6, which I believe was about 30USD give or take. Over all I echo the reviews others have made about it not feeling super touristy and unpleasant for the elephants. We were happy to contribute money to their care through the tickets and photo purchases. We were staying in Kamala Beach so it was a bit of a drive but the provided transportation was great. I would 100% recommend this to someone looking to have a truly unique interaction with elephants. Just book it!

We had so much fun at the lily elephant camp although we did not arrived on the scheduled timing the staff is very accommodating in rescheduling the timing, just message them ahead of time. They have a well trained staff and good caretaker of the elephants. There are a total of 4 elephants that we have closely encountered. Feeding elephants is quite the experience because they are gentle giants and they're so adorable. It was easy to book in klook if you want to have an experience with the elephants. Just bring some spare clothes if you still want to explore around Phuket after feeding them😉☺️

An experience with my child, it was her first time seeing an actual elephant after turning six 😆. But it was too huge, so I only chose the simple feeding option. In the end, she said that we adults had the most fun, and my daughter was too scared to feed them 😆. The locals all speak some Chinese, so even people who aren't good at English don't have to worry about coming to play. The elephants are all well taken care of, and they are chubby. Hi, The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The staff were professional, kind, and welcoming throughout the experience. I wish I could remember the names of the team members who hosted me—they were so sweet and knowledgeable. You can truly see how much they care for the elephants through the passion and love they show while talking about them and caring for them. It was heartwarming to witness the dedication they have towards these amazing animals. Thank you so much for hosting me and making this such a memorable experience. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

It was great that the tour included transportation, there was water in the water dispenser, we could take lots of photos, and the staff were cheerful, energetic, and kind. There was no rushing or hassling the guests, so we had a great time from start to finish. They took lots of photos with a single-lens reflex camera (purchased at an additional cost) in various poses and situations, which left us with some great memories. It takes a lot longer than the time listed here. We made a reservation for 10:30, and thought it would finish around 1:30 at the latest, but we broke up around 3:00, and we arrived at the hotel around 4:30, so we wasted almost the whole day. It's better to plan with plenty of time. However, overall I was satisfied with the fun time I had.
