Reviews
the experience is the best! I recommend this activity. You have time to feed the elephants, mudbath with them then wash and beush them after. The sanctuary also takes photos for free and very professional. They have towels and shower bath when you change. you can use the free Thai costume for free. Very friendly staff and helpful. The location is not so far from Patong. This activity is recommendable!
The tour was very well organized from the beginning to the end. We spent roughly 3h30 there and we did : have an introduction on the elephants, prepare their food, feed them, then we bathed them, covered them in mud and then showered them. Anytime we would interact with them, we could take pictures with them or the staff could do it for free for us. We then headed back to the main camp to cook a bit and then eat the buffet. Everything was very guided and prepared, and we never felt lost. The towels are rented for free and we got access to a locker with a deposit that they would give back at the end. Overall, the experience was good. The elephants truly seem happy, and some of them really showed their different personalities.
Amazing Experience at Phuket Elephant Care! I had the privilege of visiting Phuket Elephant Care, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This sanctuary is a haven for elephants, where their well-being and happiness are clearly the top priorities. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, providing detailed insights about the elephants’ lives, habits, and the importance of ethical tourism. What impressed me most was how well the elephants are treated. There are no rides or exploitative activities—just meaningful interactions like feeding, bathing, and walking alongside them. It was heartwarming to see them roam freely in a safe and natural environment. The sanctuary also emphasizes education and conservation, raising awareness about the challenges elephants face in Thailand. It felt good to know that my visit supported such a worthy cause. If you’re looking for an authentic, respectful, and ethical way to connect with these magnificent creatures, I highly recommend Phuket Elephant Care. It’s an experience that stays with you and reminds you of the importance of protecting wildlife.
This was the best day ever. The guides took excellent care of me and also took some photos that I’ll treasure forever. William and I got to hike in the jungle, mud bath and lake swim. pure joy and love for this magical place.
Elephants have been my girl friends favorite animal for years so this was a dream come true for her! She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time! it was such a wonderful experience! The staff were so kind to both us & the elephants. The staff were super funny & friendly & really made us feel safe going over safety precautions. Would definitely recommend!
An incredible opportunity for animal lovers. I was amazed to see how these elephant (Peter, Moon, Martin, Star) were handled WITHOUT any stick/ropes/chains etc. And also how well behaved they were with the commands. Very friendly and harmless elephant. Also how they were provided with mud and pool AND how much love it. I was really happy to see that none of these animals were abused at point of our visit. All the basic requirements and freedom were met. We were also provided with very entertaining tour guide. The staff are very friendly.
awesome experience! staff was great, helpful, funny, friendly, not to mention professional photographers! they took many photos for us and airdropped them to us at the end (for free!). the elephants are cute and well taken care of after having been rescued from forced to perform, being ridden on, or pulling logs.
was fun. the only thing that sucked was the 45 minute ride on a really hot back of a pick up truck. but atv was fun and zip lining was fun. I'd say the best part were the guides that was there the whole time! make sure to tip them because they be working hard for our fun times
It was really nice that they came to pick me up. Since it was my first time, they came a little before 9 o'clock, so they picked up 8 people. When we arrived, they explained things to me and went to feed them. They put each elephant in a basket on a rope and walked them on top of it and dragged them. They told me the name of the elephants, fed them, changed their clothes, and gave them mud and a shower. Then, I washed and changed in the bathroom and shower room and painted the elephant. It was the best. The staff who explained everything was easy to understand because it was in simple English. It was pleasant and friendly. There was one person in charge for each elephant to help with the feeding experience and made it fun. Mud and shower were also very cheerful. They give, help, and talk to each other. It's fun, no matter what. But the shower took a long time, so I couldn't paint the elephant for even 5 minutes. ㅠㅁI couldn't do it. There were 2 referee towels and plastic bags.
They have two outlet and the agency would choose the nearest outlet for you based on your hotel location. I initially book because they address stated the Naithon site which is bigger and had a baby elephant Vi-Lin. However upon confirmation they change address and send us to Kathu! We still enjoyed ourselves!
