Reviews
The biggest highlight of this trip is Shojin Cuisine, which has been awarded two Michelin stars for 16 consecutive years. It is hidden next to the temple. It was reserved more than a month ago and was finally on the waiting list. It is indeed worthy of its reputation.
The food experience was good. Though was meat-free but was exquisite. The private dining experience was greeted with very welcoming staff. I love the yizhu miso with radish. The taste was really different from what the usual ones we eat. The mushroom with rice was excellent too. As it is meat-free, the whole meal felt very light and healthy especially in winter.
A very distinctive Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant with fresh seasonal ingredients and a very good environment. It is next to an ancient temple. Recommended
The overall service and environment are very good. Dining has its own independent Japanese-style box and garden view. If you can watch the cherry blossoms while dining, the atmosphere should be great~
Food was good and tasty but French style servings, so a little less. Managed to meet the chef and see the nice garden.
It was a very memorable experience. This restaurant is a very well-known Michelin restaurant in Japan, famous for its unique Japanese food style and high-quality ingredients. When I walked into the restaurant, I immediately felt its unique atmosphere. This restaurant is full of traditional Japanese style, from the interior design to the tableware, every detail is full of beauty and artistry. When the waiter led us into the dining area of the restaurant, we were mesmerized by the beautiful Japanese style, which made us look forward to the food we were about to taste even more. The restaurant has an extensive menu with lots of local ingredients and traditional Japanese dishes. When we were ordering, the waiter was very enthusiastic to introduce the origin and cooking method of each dish to us. When the dishes came to the table one after another, I was amazed at the restaurant's cooking skills and ingredients. Each dish displays great skill and creativity, while each dish maintains its original taste and texture. The quality of service in the restaurant is also excellent. The waiters were very attentive to our dining experience and were always smiling and friendly. Overall, the dining experience was excellent. From its menu to the quality of its service, every detail is taken care of.
