Hoover Dam Highlight Trip from Las Vegas

it’s a must attend half day tour when in Vegas specially during the afternoon hours. Our Guide was very good and knowledgeable.

This is the cheapest thing to do in Vegas for 1/2 the day. good stuff. I'm not sure if going to Hoover dam would be worthy in the summer as it can be so hot. it was 87 and I was still dying.

The views of Lake Mead and the dam are spectacular. However, the overall itinerary arrangement was not very good. Firstly, because it was a large group, the tour bus spent a long time just running around three pick-up points to complete the boarding registration for everyone. Also, ordering through this platform does not allow you to choose whether or not to enter the generator room (it is stated that it is not included). Only upon arrival did we discover that people who booked through other platforms had already purchased tickets for the generator room. When we boarded the bus, the driver confirmed with us that we had not purchased tickets for the generator room and even said that most people had purchased them, which surprised us a bit. After arriving, purchasing tickets separately would cost USD25, and if we entered the generator room, we might not have enough time to walk on the dam crest. Additionally, the tour guide arranged for us to visit Boulder City and have lunch at our own expense, but the time was less than 1 hour, and the restaurant choices were very limited. Some tour members had to pack their food to go after ordering and waiting for it, without even having time to eat, let alone a chance to explore. Overall, the scenery is nice, but the arrangements were not good (the group included people who had purchased generator room tickets and those of us who had no idea about the arrangements before departure). The tour fee was just for the bus fare and tour guide fee (excluding the additional tip), and the time for visiting the dam and Boulder City was insufficient, making the overall experience unsatisfactory.

The time arrangement is very appropriate, and the design of the scenic spot also takes into account the situation of the Hoover Dam from different angles. The driver and tour guide are considerate and thoughtful, making the journey more pleasant and smooth. Recommended!
