Martinborough Half Day Winery Tour

Phil, the tour operator, was amazing in giving us insights about pretty much everything: New Zealand in general, territory, history and weather. The different small businesses we visited (cheese maker/retailer, wineries, olive oil producer and chocolate boutique) were all run by passionate local families which give their heart and welcome you at their best. Thank to this tour I felt I got to touch the small reality of the Martinborough Region and it was amazing! Strongly suggested if you happen to be in Wellington for few days!!

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Phil, was incredibly knowledgeable, providing us with fascinating insights about the tourist spots, wineries, and the history of the area. We visited three incredible vineyards: Poppy, Muirlea Rise, and Moy Hall, as well as a fantastic cheese place Cest cheese where we got to taste some of their delicious products. It was an amazing experience, and I will definitely be returning!

Our driver and guide Simon did a great job showing us around. He can even speak multiple languages according to the different origins of all the participants in our van!

Mike our tour guide, great customer service, great communication interaction with his customers, perfect location for kaiaki for our brunch and it was a such a excellent tour with his great humour, yarns and most of all his knowledge yarning us about Wellington. Definitely recommended.

Trip was lovely, stretched out a little and managed to visit a cheese shop. was nice driving through the smaller towns which had a different vibe from Wellington. if you have no idea which wineries to visit, this is a good tour to start with.

Simon was the best. We had about 20 varieties of wines to taste which was great.

The driver and tour guide were very friendly, but a car packed with 11 people was a bit too crowded! The number of people should be controlled more reasonably. Other than that, the overall experience was good.
