Arrowtown Wanaka 6 Hours Tour

I had an amazing time visiting Arrowtown and Wanaka. My experience was definitely extra special as the tour guide knew so much about the town and would mention random facts that you wouldn’t know (compared to self guided). Definitely was worth booking with this tour and highly recommend anyone to do so!

I am so glad that I booked this tour!! Totally worth it, very charming little towns, eith plenty of local shops and delicious food! Our guide, Chris was fantastic — super knowledgeable and funny, with great stories and a smart sense of humor that made the day even more enjoyable.

Thank you for the great trip. Although it was a pity that it rained, we still visited all the places as planned. I really appreciate the driver and guide for being patient and considerate, especially since my English isn’t very good. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

We just finished the tour, though it is raining a bit here and there but we had a great time with a very experienced local guide Bill. He is knowledgeable and humorous. He knows the best spot for all the photos. He even show us the huge eels that lives in Lake Wanaka and how to capture the best photo of Tree Wanaka. Love his positive attitude in life. Without the rain, we won't be able to capture the rainbow overlooking the valley. Thank you so much "Bill".

We had a great time with this group tour. Wayne was very helpful throughout the journey and kept telling us facts and stories about all the places that we went to. The vehicle provided was very comfortable for the journey and we felt like it was a very good service.

For travelers not using their own transportation, this small group tour (no more than 11 people) is more efficient than taking the Orbus or Intercity on your own. The vehicle is new, and every location is punctual. The tour includes a stop at the Cadrona Hotel along the mountain road, with a complimentary soft drink or beer. Returning to Queenstown leaves you with half a day to plan activities. In Wanaka, in addition to the 20 minutes for viewing the tree, you'll have 1 hour for lunch, walking along the lake, or exploring the town. However, there won't be enough time to visit the museum in Arrowtown.

The tour was well paced. Had sufficient time for the stops. Could have given a bit more time at wanaka and less time in arrowtown but that's personal preference.

I had a great time with this short trip. We will be picked up around 9.50 am so ensure to be in the meeting point before on time. We went to Cardona Hotel, Lake Wanaka (incl Wanaka Tree), Arrowtown and some photostops along the way. Overall I had a blast. Thank you !

a short trip The guide stops at many places. Stop by to see the view, stop by to taste Ginger beer, stop by Bardrona to see underwear hanging on the fence for breast cancer campaign, Lake Wanaka, Arrow town. When we go, Arrow town is starting to get covered with snow. make it look very beautiful
