We were supposed to meet at the Boonsiri office in Khaosan at 8:00, but we had to check in 30 minutes before, so we arrived around 7:20. After checking in, we were told to get on the bus right away, and we departed at 7:40. We took a toilet break on the way. It was early for lunch and there wasn't much I wanted to eat, so I didn't eat anything, but in the end I should have eaten here (I didn't have many chances to eat after that). It might be a good idea to eat more in the morning or buy something (I ended up arriving at the hotel around 16:30). It took longer than I thought, but the general flow was clear so I didn't get lost and it was easy. I'd like to use it again when I go to Koh Kood or Koh Mak.
We used the services of Boonsiri for the first time through Klook. And we were right! The main decision when choosing was the possibility of pre-paying for the transfer with a Union Pay card. Klook did an excellent job. The guys from Boonsiri work seriously and thoroughly. In the evening, we went to the Boonsiri office, showed the visa. They gave us two tickets and asked us to come in the morning half an hour before the bus departure. All stages of the transportation worked like clockwork: bus, ferry, jeep on the island, meeting at the resort. At each stage, we were not left without attention. We recommend!
I think it's perfect, but when I got off at the pier, I had to go to the office to queue up for boarding and transfer to the hotel, which took more than an hour. The drive from Bangkok to the pier takes about 5 hours. I also bought a return ticket and asked for transfer. The taxi driver was late for about 40 minutes. Because the ferry ticket was for 10:00 in the morning, the driver did not show up until 9:35 and drove to the pier at about 10:05! It's super thrilling! After getting off the ship, I went back to the office to queue up for the bus pick-up, which took more than an hour before the bus left. I got off at two points near the airport and the Bangkok office.
11:00 Pick up directly from the hotel lobby to the pier, wait for more than ten minutes for the boat to arrive, the boat journey is about 45 minutes, and then directly sent to the bus rest area, there is a distribution of bento Zan Zan After an hour of rest, the bus came, About six hours to Bangkok! There will be rest stops on the way. There are toilets on the outbound bus, and there are always minibuses on the return journey. Let us take a rest at the rest stop! Optional airport or Khao San Road get off perfect 11:00 Island Hotel - 19:30 Khao San Road
Please note that for transfers from Koh Chang to Bangkok, Klook's website displays two time slots: 9 AM and 10 AM, with different prices. These times do not refer to the boat departure times or a choice between two piers. Instead, the 9 AM option includes pickup service, while the 10 AM option requires you to make your own way to the pier. I hope they can clarify this on their website. The journey from Koh Chang back to Bangkok is quite long. We took a shared taxi (songthaew) to the pier at 8:40 AM, then boarded the 10 AM ferry. The ferry ride itself was only 20 minutes, and it accommodates cars and motorcycles. After that, we waited for the 11:20 AM bus. They provided a sandwich lunchbox. We arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport Station in Bangkok at 5 PM. If you don't want to go all the way to the final stop at the Boonsiri office on Khao San Road, you can choose to get off at Suvarnabhumi Airport Station. However, the driver will stop at the second station of the Airport Rail Link, not the first, so there won't be any seats available. Fortunately, it's only a 20-minute stand.
Many thanks to Boonsiri customer service Shemae. I bought the wrong date from Koh Chang to Koh Kood by mistake. Shamae called me the previous afternoon to inform me and handled it in time. It is commendable. In addition, the Klook platform directly supports the cancellation of booking for the island, so I can rebook immediately without loss, and the itinerary is correct, good!
perfect amazing ! nice place good food and all great ! organized well and very smoother ! I wish to go again !
04:30 After reporting on Khao San Road, the bus will arrive at the pier rest stop at about 11:30. There will be a rest stop on the way, and there will be toilets on the big bus. It’s very new and will arrive on the island soon after 45. Immediately, there will be a songthaew car directly delivered to the hotel. Perfect 04:30 Bangkok -> 14:30 Island hotel
The package doesn't include hotel pickup from Koh Mak to the pier. Koh Mak has many dirt roads, and it's inconvenient to carry lots of luggage, which is a bit of a drawback. You'll first take a boat to the pier, and then there's a shuttle bus from the pier to their passenger center, where you exchange for new tickets. They also provided a breakfast. There are two drop-off points in Bangkok: near the airport and Khao San Road. You can choose when you exchange tickets. They also gave out a small cake and a bottle of water on the bus. Overall, it's okay. It would be better if hotel pickup from Koh Mak was included.
Easy to book, convenient pickup from Koh Chang hotel to the pier, and shuttle bus from pier to Bangkok. There are two drop off points, at A2 skyline and khao san road. Make a wise choice for the road trip.
