Book the ticket on day of visit and just show to the staff at ticket counter. A small park where you feed them with food purchased in the park vending machine. ¥200 or ¥500/packet. 1st ranch where the male bears( human cage) is where you can observe and feed them up close. Female bears in 2nd ranch seem not so active when we visited compared to the video seen previously where they will make some actions to beg for food. Interesting activity is we joined the "Duck Race" to guess which duck will win the race. it is like a bet and my kid choose the duck with red ribbon won the race and got a small gift from the park. facilities:
Total time to be spent is maximum 2 hours. Recommend to buy bear food, which you can throw to the bear. Duck race is pretty entertaining, you can bet on which duck will win the race. If you are right, you can win a keychain! It was rainy weather unfortunately, very cloudy and could not see the views.
I love everything over there such as a friendly and helpful staffs. specially, the bear because they’re very clever and lovely. one more thing to make me remember about and really have fun with, is the duck race. my god, I never see this before and I really enjoyed with this events. so everyone please don’t forget to visit the bear park if you’re at Hokkaido.
Easy redemption at the ticket counter. Bear feeding was fun while duck race was hilarious. It was snowing when we were there, hence, visibility was not great for view of Lake Kuttara. Nice place to spend an hour or two while visiting Noboribetsu Onsen town.
We enjoyed ourselves here that day. We went on a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all. The bears will raise their hands to ask for snacks. You could get the snacks from the vending machine in the park. There is also a very nice view on top of the park. Bought the tickets through Klook and redeemed the tickets at the counter. Easy-peasy!
nice enclosure for the bears. unfortunately had a drizzle on that day. so the place is abit foggy. can’t see the lake view. the bears seems quite well fed when tourists keep throwing them with food. Lol. a good place to see. Ignore those what cruelty bears comments, totally untrue. Another Woke Gen era we living in

Two cubs were born on 2024/01/23, super cute! At 11:45 they will be allowed to practice catching salmon 😂. The ticket includes a round trip ride on the cable car. You can see the lake and sea from the observation deck, which is beautiful! I heard that the transparency of Lake Kutara is as high as 20m. There is a museum introducing brown bears and Ainu people downstairs from the observation deck. It is worth a visit. The souvenir shop on the first floor sells postcards with 1:1 bear footprints for only 50 yen!
it was amazing trip. the bear was huge and friendly. we have a great time and learn how the bear related with ainu people
the cubs are very cute, and the ducks racing game is so much fun ! feeding brown bears from the human cage is cool !
