Angthong National Park Speedboat Tour: Snorkeling, Kayaking & Lunch

A day in the water. Very well organized. The boat crew was lovely and patient… the activities flowed together, but we still had time to enjoy them. Excellent. P.S. Please respect the rules you're given! (Life vests in the national park are required, and climbing on the rocks to do a "jump" is prohibited.) Please be respectful before it's forbidden for everyone, or just stay home.

One of the best excursions, I’ve done in koh samui, The speed boat, the staff, the service, the attentiveness and everything was perfect. the local operator for this trip is Grand discovery, which has one of the best staff I have ever seen. They provide you with light breakfast before you bought the speedboat and you’ll be given a small introduction about your trip, they also provide medicines for motion sickness. Throughout the trip, You’ll be provided with cold drinks and water. The lunch was a buffet in an island. Honestly, this buffet variety was insane. Would definitely recommend for everyone to go ahead without a second thought

This was such a well-rounded and wholesome trip, even with the unexpected rain. Everything was well-structured, and the staff were incredibly friendly and supportive. I was nervous about snorkeling since I was traveling alone, but one of the guides reassured me by saying, "I’ll be watching you," and he really was—every time I looked up, he was there. That level of care made all the difference. They even offered to take pictures for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole experience felt safe, beautiful, and filled with genuine human connection. I left with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the people who made it special.

We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the meeting point. There were a light breakfast consisting of toast and jam and coffee and coffee. We then got an explanation about the tour by a very funny guy with some good jokes and they also offered free sea sick pills for the speedboat. We went to some beautiful sights and did some snorkeling and hiking which was nice. The lunch provided was also better than expected. I want to commend th crew of the speedboat who was super friendly and helpful with everything. They rally made sure we all had a great time and had everything we needed 👍

The tour was completely organized and you didn't have to worry about anything. The program (snorkeling, kayaking, hiking and relaxing on the beach) was a lot of fun and you had plenty of time everywhere! The last hike is definitely worth doing as it has the best view in all of Thailand - but you need to be in good shape as it is very steep and high.

1. What to bring: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, towel, aqua shoes, snacks, cash (entrance fee, maybe enough for snacks on the island?) 2. How to book: Klook (Recommended travel agency: grand sea pier=grand sea discovery) 3. How to enjoy: -After booking, they will pick you up at your hotel. -Just pack your things and enjoy snorkeling, trekking, etc. according to the schedule. -They will pick you up early in the morning, so if you’re hungry, they will provide a simple breakfast for free at grand sea pier (bread, coffee, drinks) 4. Review: -I’ve been to both Ang Thong and Koh Tao-Nang Yuan and I was satisfied with both. -If you go to Ang Thong, I recommend boarding the boat with the captain who will give you a tour in the morning~ He was cheerful, proactive, and kind, and he was fun throughout the trip!! - Angthong has snorkeling, but there is also a route to climb to the top of the island, so I recommend aqua shoes~ (You can buy them on the boat or before boarding~) - Snorkeling equipment is available for rent, but there is a fee for loss, and the equipment is well managed, so you can use it without worry. - I visited in February, and it was a bit chilly after snorkeling when moving to the boat. I think it would be good to bring a towel or long sleeves. - Not only the captain, but all the Grand Sea Discovery staff members who were with me were friendly. Taking pictures was basic, and they provided drinks and water, and even checked for motion sickness, so I was very grateful, and I still want to visit again. I highly recommend you try it!

We booked this experience with full doubt in our mind thinking ghow it would be to travel with a toddler. (almost 2yr old) Let me tell you! The tour operators were amazing!!! and very very considerate and accommodating. they offered to clock pictures for us. hold the baby and much more. The trip as mentioned in the itinerary took us to 4 stops. 1st for snorkeling, and even though we didn't get in the water we can see plenty fish from the boat. 2nd stop for kayaking (babies not allowed) so we stayed on the beach and played. 3rd stop for a short hike to the top a beautiful view point. but pls note the steps are very very steep and need to be extra careful. 4th stop for lunch and a long leisure break on the marine park island. we can also hike to the top of the island for a beautiful view.

Fantastic tour and beautiful places. The tour consists of 4 stops. The first for snorkeling, the second for kayaking, the third and fourth for hiking to the two viewpoints, the first at the emerald lake and the second at the viewpoint to see all the islands of the archipelago. Very nice and friendly staff. The lunch was also good.

Our staff was great and very helpful, it was a perfect experience. First we stopped for corals (the brilliant sea in the first picture) and then we went on with another small stop, finally saw the Mu Ang Thong National park. It was gorgeous, we swam and did kayaking. Definitely a must-do activity🐠

Highly recommended. Everything was just perfect. If you join the tour alone, there is no need to worry because the tour guide will take care of you and help take pictures of you. If you are a vegetarian, contact customer service to help you with the request for vegetarian lunch.
