Panip was a great guide. We had arrived at the meeting point 45 mins to the scheduled meeting time and to our surprise, he was already there and being first timers joining such tours, it was definitely very assuring to have him already at the meeting point. He was a very diligent guide and he took very great care of us. Both the floating market and Maeklong Railway market were well planned and we enjoyed. ourselves thoroughly. Driver was punctual and careful. We had a great time and the tour was value for money. Will definitely recommend to others.
Had an amazing time on the Bangkok Floating Markets Day Tour with TTD! The convenience of the departure from Siam Paragon made it hassle-free. Our guide was knowledgeable, and the entire day was well-planned. Loved exploring the vibrant markets, trying delicious local treats, and cruising along the picturesque canals. The personalized touch of small group sizes made the experience even more enjoyable, allowing for a more intimate connection with the surroundings. The highlight was bargaining with friendly vendors and snagging unique souvenirs. Highly recommend this tour for a perfect taste of Thai culture and flavors! Can't wait to book another adventure with TTD
This was such a great experience for a first timer in Thailand! I had fun exploring this part of the country. It is fairly hot but we still had a great time. I particularly liked the tour guides that were assigned to us. Sir Ken was very interactive, hospitable and fun at the same time. He gave out facts all throughout the trip which were really interesting and insightful. The tour guides also arranged a massage appointment nearby for those of us who wanted to pass by time in Maeklong. I really appreciated it! Thank you so much Sir Ken.
Today, the tour leaders Jenny and Lita took good care of our group members. Jenny spoke English and Mandarin on the bilingual broadcast channel and was very funny. She talked about the history of Thailand and taught me a few words in Thai about the floating market and the Maeklong Railway. The best stop is to join a day tour. Someone will drive you there in the morning and pack milk, coconut pudding and bananas with water. It’s really thoughtful and considerate👏🏻 The canal time is well planned and accurate. It’s considerate and we set off to Zuoshui in the morning. Eat lunch at the market first, then drink some cold and sweet coconut milk. Unfortunately, you can’t drink Thai milk. Then go to Maeklong Railway Station to watch the train station. After about 20 minutes of walking, I found a good seat to watch the train station. So close, so shocking. Must go to the channel to introduce me to the massage station. The gestures of the master are very good and the power is very good. 😍 After the tour, I will tie the iconsiam and drop it off. You can go shopping.
Sasa was our tour guide. She was very energetic along the way and knowledgeable about most places we passed by bus. Maeklong Railway has a lot of shops with authentic Thai food and drinks. I personally prefer Amphawa Floating Market not because of the shops (there were a few good bargains too), but because we saw fireflies despite the light rain/drizzle. Overall, it was a one-of-a-kind experience!
SUPER FUN!!! Our tour guides were amazing and gave us tips for how to shop in the markets and some Thai phrases. Both markets have bathrooms (floating market bathroom is 10 baht, but it's VERY clean). Seeing the train was also very exciting. I recommend holding off all purchases until the railway market because it's much cheaper in the railway, even compared to Bangkok markets.
This is a highly recommended activity when you are visiting Thailand. The concept of these markets (floating and railway) are excellent. All the foods were delicious and authentic.
We availed the private tour and I can say it was worth it. Sir Sammy was very accomodating and explained the itinerary and history of the place. He also taught us some Thai words. I would like to commend sir Sammy and driver Mr. Pong for facilitating the tour 🙂
Our guides were amazing! thank you Uno! It was easy to find the tour group at our meeting point! as well as the drop off(: do note the drop off is at Icon Siam! but it's still not too bad to get a train back to the city(: with the fun little shuttle ferry ride to the station from the shopping mall! it was a lovely experience!
Our tour guides are very experienced and historic informative. They are helpful during the trip and got the things well prepared.
