Good to know
Our Scenic Railway will be closed for essential maintenance until 15th November.
As part of our commitment to maintaining quality safety standards and investing in a world class visitor experience, we regularly perform scheduled and routine maintenance on all of our attractions at Scenic World.
Every six years each of our iconic rides receives a major maintenance overhaul. This involves inspecting and testing all critical components and working closely with a team of Swiss engineers who travel to us especially for this work. This year the Scenic Railway is due for its 6-yearly maintenance.
All other attractions at Scenic World remain open and ready for you to enjoy.
Your visit will still include unlimited access to:
- The Scenic Cableway
- The Scenic Skyway
- Our immersive Dinosaur Valley exhibition, featuring the only Dinosaur Aquarium in Australia
- Plus, our beautiful 10, 30, and 50-minute boardwalks through the ancient rainforest
You’ll be able to explore every area of Scenic World except the Railway during this time. This simply means accessing the Jamison Valley by the Scenic Cableway, both up and down.
