BIG Kanu Glowworm Tour in Tauranga

It was a beautiful sunset and perfect timing to paddle the canoe and also our first canoeing experience. We saw a lot of glowworm in the gorge. A friendly and funny guide made the adventure even more memorable.

We arrived at the appointed time, but we were worried because no one showed up even though it was more than five minutes after the start time. The tour started late, but the content was excellent, the staff's explanations and responses, and the glow worms were really wonderful, so it was worth the participation fee. It was cold in the evening, so I recommend wearing warm clothes. We took a taxi from Tauranga and had a lot of fun. I recommend it ♪

It's such a unique experience. Although the weather is cloudy, there is a mist on the lake, and you feel like you are in a fairyland while rowing. The two tour guides continued to explain the primitive ecological environment nearby, and finally saw fireflies. The process was so complete!

we arrived the meeting point on time but the organizer told us that the activity was cancelled because the kanu need to repair. we apply for a refund and it is 2 weeks after the event but we still cannot get the money back. .
