Guide was super chill and nice! Had some nice stories about the place. Geysir was magnificent and the crater was huge!!! Gulfoss was absolutely gorgeous. Try to manage your time well if you want to visit the shops as well as take plenty of nice photos. Blue lagoon was the highlight of the tour -- remember to bring a waterproof cover for your phone if you want to take pictures inside. They sell those inside too but they cost ISK 3300 which is roughly £19-20. You get a complimentary drink and silica mud mask. Couldn't imagine a better ending to the day!
Pick up was on time. Driver was so so nice and funny, providing a lot of information about the sites we were visiting! We had sufficient time for each spot. Would recommend this trip!
What a wonderful trip. I went on this with my partner. We were picked up from the front of our hotel (which I believe was an extra cost - but not too much). And from the moment we were picked up to the moment we got back it was just an incredible experience. Our guide was lovely - his name I can’t quite remember but he worked for ‘Nice Travel’ and my partner seems to recall his name being Ross. But a lovely man regardless! The first stop was the national park where we walked along the ‘crack’ as it was described to us. The scenery was incredible (you’ll be hearing this a lot) Then it was on to the Geysers which are truly amazing. Seeing it shoot out the water was something I can’t quite put into words. We moved onto the waterfall (Gulfoss) which I believe translates into the Golden Waterfall - beautiful. (The only downside to this part was having to pay for the toilets but I guess that you have to make your money somehow so I do understand this!) We stopped by a farmhouse to see the Mongolian Horses (they were imported here to Iceland and are not actually originally from here) and you could feed them ‘Horse Candy’ at a price of 200 IKR. The Volcanic Crater was something which I thought looked amazing. And apparently they are looking to have concerts here in the future - somewhere as an avid Gig goer I would love to see someone perform. Finally on our trip we went to the Blue Lagoon - we were given a complimentary drink and face mask with our Ticket and this really did top the day off for us. We both really enjoyed it and left feeling refreshed and reinvigorated Overall, the trip is superb. Well worth the money as you get free entry into all of the above as well as the added bonus at the Blue Lagoon. Wrap up because it was really cold today and very windy and I imagine if you aren’t wrapped up enough it could ruin your day. But yes, if you are in Iceland and wondering which trip to go for I would 100% recommend this one!
On time pick up, driver was an Italian man that has lived in Iceland for 20 years, he was funny and informative. The only downside was the van that transported us was a little small and cramped, and potentially letting us know that we have to purchase food in order to have a seat in the cafeteria that is the stop for lunch break and cannot bring our own food. But good value for money, the sights were amazing, definitely a great day trip that is not to be missed if visiting Iceland
Once in a lifetime experience! Price is reasonable, hope be able to visit again ;)
Absolutely fabulous. The tour guide Mica is very knowledgable and helpful.
Our tour guide, Ross, was very kind and great at his job. He let us stop to see the Icelandic Horses. There were 6 stops (including the horse stable and blue lagoon). Views were amazing. Bring very warm clothes because the places where you will go are very windy (in November) and of course, your swimsuit. Note though, that most pick up and drop off will either be in bus stops near your hotel or in BSI (10 minutes walk out in the cold).
Good tour covering the essentials within Golden Circle with bonus trip to Blue Lagoon. I highly recommend to all first time tourists to Iceland. Just wished the guide allow us more time at each stop so that we can truly enjoy the sights and experience.
good day to spending private tour with this package
The tour started punctually and the pickup was very smooth right in front of the hotel. Our guide, Attie, was very professional and had good time management. We could reach The Blue Lagoon earlier and spent more time to enjoy after a long day of travel. It definitely worths the price and is highly recommended!
