Mount Batur Custom Sunrise Trekking Experience

The Road going up is not easy cuz it’s quite steep starting from the middle of our journey. But our guide is very supportive throughout the hike. And the view at the top of the mountain was just spectacular and everything just worths it… High recommended to anyone who is also natural lover!! warm reminder is the top of th mountain is very cold!

it was a nice and chill hike up. Gede, our guide is one who take care of his group and make sure no one is left behind(at the back). Letting the group taking short breaks and always helping when certain part of the terrain seem rather tough. Agus, our guide, was almost perfect. The best guide I've met in Bali. He made sure we took short breaks every 10-15 minutes and constantly checked in to see if we were doing okay. At the summit, he provided warm coffee and a meal, which allowed us to enjoy the spectacular sunrise without any problems despite the rather cold weather. On the way down, he gave us options, allowing us to experience places that are not easily accessible. I'm leaving with great memories! :)

I did the group sunrise trekking and the experience was absolutely memorable. Our guide was great - positive, chirpy and helpful. He took us up through the non-treaded path which was a unique challenge but we came down the normal way. He took great pictures as well. The pick up from and to the hotel was on time and smooth.

Our Mt Batur hike was memorable and safe—thanks to our incredible guide. My partner and I hike at a slower pace, but he never once made us feel rushed. Instead, he patiently kept us company at the back of the group, offering encouragement and sharing stories about the mountain as we climbed. Reaching the summit, he steered us to a quieter lookout away from the crowds. Watching the sun rise was cold but pure magic, and he captured the moment perfectly—snapping stunning photos and even filming a short video so we could relive it later. The descent was tricky for me and steep as I struggled with the loose gravel. He literally offered me a steady hand the entire way down, making sure I never lost my footing. The best experience ever! The hike wasn't as rough as I thought it may be. This was my very first time doing anything like this. HIGHLY recommend for anyone!

My spouse and I participated in this tour from Sanur. Our driver, Edi, was very friendly and knew the roads well, which made us feel at ease. At Mount Batur, Agus guided us. We are both over 60, but Agus was always mindful of our pace, and we were able to complete the climb. At the summit, he led us to spots with beautiful views and took excellent photos. After descending, we stopped at Cretya Ubud. Since it was early in the morning, it wasn't crowded, and we were able to sit in a free seating area. There was also a warm water area, and a drink was included. We spent about an hour and a half there before heading back. We're glad we participated.
