If you’re not a licensed diver, this tour is for you. The staff are very friendly and explained very well the expectations of this tour. It is a once in a lifetime experience. we saw many sharks
I had a great time as a boat rider !! captain and her assistant was accommodating while we all wait for the ones in the cage. ill be back next time with family and friends and be in the cage. hehe
Awesome Trip!! I loved it!! The boat crew was awesome!
After check-in, board the boat for about 25-30 minutes and connect the cage floating in the sea to the boat before proceeding. I used the snorkel loaned by the company, and I regret not bringing an underwater camera ㅜㅜ If you want to experience it, be sure to bring an underwater camera!! Be sure to bring your own beach towel!! take care It was fantastic. The clear sea, the Pacific sea with no end in sight of the approaching shark... It was so so so so good.
We had wanted to go shark caging for a very long time, and this trip did not disappoint. Crew was great, very informative and helpful. We saw humpback whales on the ways out and back, and even saw a large pod of spinner dolphins on the ride back. There were 15 or so Galapagos sharks that circled the cage as soon as we arrived at the dive site and made for an extremely enjoyable time. Our only caution is be prepared for rough seas and to get jerked back and forth by the swells even while in the water.
They say that sharks sound like a crab fishing boat motor, so they come together knowing that they are feeding them~ The waves are strong, so you need to drink motion sickness medicine on the way out. . Definitely!!!! And if you request a $75 video, they do better. I didn't ^^;; And I think it would be really good to apply early (so the waves are calm). Seeing the sharks in the really blue sea was amazing, strange, and fun! I think the price is also cheap!! You have your own snorkel gear, so bring your own and use it.
Had such a great time! It was windy that day and the tours after us got canceled so definitely recommend booking the early times (we booked 8 am). Bring Dramamine! We saw a lot of sharks (plus other fish) and had a good amount of time in the cage (6 people in the cage). We arranged transportation through the shark tour company and pick up/drop off was easy. There’s a public bathroom nearby (brown shed) you can use to change afterwards (no doors on the stalls though).
It’s an absolute must do if you go to the North Shore, Haleiwa. Definitely book the earliest tour time slot as the ocean gets choppy in the afternoon. Allot at least 1.5 hours from Waikiki as the traffic towards the old town gets busy especially in the winter months, surfing season. Aloha and enjoy!!
They are very knowledgeable and straight forward! We really enjoyed our time here and would do it again! Will recommend it to anyone that are interested
It was amazing experience to see the sharks swimming around you. Luckily we saw whale 3 times. Totally worth!
