Xi'an Daming Palace Banquet

Xi’an Daming Palace Banquet is an immersive Tang culture dining and show experience that deeply integrates Tang palace etiquette, music and dance performances, and imperial court cuisine, with the “Palace of a Thousand Palaces” Daming Palace as its soul. It allows diners to touch the grandeur and elegance of Chang’an’s millennium in the midst of bells, drums, and sheng music, achieving the unique experience of “drama in food, history in drama.” Inspired by the Daming Palace architectural complex, it recreates the magnificent banquet etiquette of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, where “all nations pay homage to the emperor,” through eight major themed scenes such as “Phoenix Welcomes Guests,” “Palace of a Thousand Robes,” and “Music of Ten Thousand Nations,” complemented by imperial court cuisine innovated from ancient Tang recipes. The main storyline uses historical allusions from the Tang Dynasty as its script, with each dish corresponding to a story and each performance recreating a legend, such as classic Tang dynasty music and dance like “Rainbow Skirt and Feathered Dress” and “Silk Road Whirling Dance.”
