We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and while the area near the cable car station was crowded, the park itself was noticeably less so. It was a rare opportunity for a forest bath, and the environment was very well preserved. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, and the treetop walk and skywalk offered great photo opportunities. As mentioned in other reviews, the network coverage nearby was very poor, and there was no network at all inside the park, so it's essential to prepare an offline QR code in advance. We didn't see any monkeys or squirrels in the park that day, and staff suggested they are easier to spot in the morning. However, we were lucky enough to encounter them all outside the park! Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes and insects inside the park; even after applying repellent, we were still a 'crazy buffet' for them, so be prepared. After exploring, there was a free shuttle bus back to the cable car station, which was a great arrangement.
I went there hoping to experience the primeval forest from ancient times. Unfortunately, the weather on the day of my visit was bad, and it started raining heavily right after entering the habitat. I slowly explored while taking shelter from the rain. However, since there was no sign of the rain stopping, I gave up on the treetop walk and continued on. Due to the weather, I didn't encounter any monkeys or squirrels, but the misty, dense rainforest had its own special charm. I vowed to definitely revisit when the weather is good!
The cable car was fast and beautiful. The bridge in the ecological park was a bit high, but the view was magnificent, and we saw many interesting animals along the way. The monkeys were incredibly cute, unlike any I've seen before.
The Habitat Penang Hill is an amazing place to visit. You get a 360-degree view of the entire Penang hills and everything. I would recommend going to Penang Hill via the jeep, as the ride up the hill is beautiful and thrilling. It can also be enjoyed with family. You should definitely visit the tree top, which is approximately 800 meters above sea level, to experience the panoramic view of the entire Penang Hill. I highly recommend it.
Penang Hill is definitely a must visit as it is one of the highlights to have good 360 view of Penang which is accessible at the habitat. Remember to save the QR Codes to your phone gallery, if you are booking for your family members, make sure each voucher is saved to their phone gallery. This is because there might not be enough internet signal if you access the voucher directly through klook app once you are at the entrance of the habitat. To save time, better to have the QR codes saved so you can just scan it to pass the gantry without worrying about connection. Otherwise, you can connect to their wifi.
體驗:We went to the Habitat during the week day. So, the park was not too many people and no need to line up to enter the park. The path was easy for elderly to walk because most of the road is flat. We loved the fresh air, flowers and scenery there.
I felt exhilarated walking through nature. There were many plants that I don't see in Japan, and I enjoyed meeting squirrels. As someone with a fear of heights, there were some slightly scary parts, but I felt safe with the fences and handrails. There was a swing along the way, and I was happy to be swinging surrounded by nature. I felt like Heidi for a moment. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves nature and wants to see a rainforest.
back to nature, feel the silence & the sounds of the wild. best experience for 1st time entering the habitat. the view of andaman sea & the top view facing the penang bridge is breathtaking.
