My guide very helpfull, make my dream come true to visit places also eat aroi Khao Soi thay I want. And make me is like a photo model for a day 😊
a little more clarity on the pick up point would be helpful. we wasted time wandering around looking for the departure point and arrived with only 2 minutes to spare.
We participated as a group of two. For the first stop of the food tour, we each ordered our favorite drink at a cafe. At the second stop, a curry pie shop, the guide bought one box of 5 pies, and we each ate one, and the guide also ate one. What about the remaining two? For the third stop, a food item consisting of sausage and sauce on bread, the shop was closed, so we were made to wait for a long time at a temple a little further away. The guide bought one box and brought it to us, and we each ate just one bite, and the guide also ate one bite. What about the rest? As with the pie before, there was no explanation of the food, just a box held out to us, telling us to take one. Was it originally planned as just a bite for each person, and not a box per person? The guide ate the rest, and I think they took the rest home. Are participants not allowed to take home any uneaten portions? Lunch was at a restaurant with a river view. We ordered just one item each from the menu, and the only drink was bottled water. The guide ate at the table with us, so it was not relaxing and we couldn't take our time. It was such a lovely restaurant, I would have liked to order other things or have a beer, even if I had to pay extra. The fourth stop was ice cream with chestnuts on top, and we could choose the flavor. We were given one cup each, but the guide ate with us too. The guide didn't seem to know the way well, going back and forth on different roads and asking locals along the way to finally get to the main street, so of course there was hardly any explanation along the way. For the fifth stop, mango, I thought it would be the famous Khao Niao Mamuang, but we were told to choose our favorite fruit at a street stall, and we chose mango. The guide bought just one, and it was takeout. This time it happened to be just us, but since it's not originally a private tour, what happens to the sharing of these foods if there are other groups? The pricing is not clear, and it felt very expensive. And does this tour fee include the guide's meals? Finally, I was looking forward to riding a tuk-tuk, but when I mentioned the massage parlor, the next destination, I was told that we would walk to the nearest station instead of taking a tuk-tuk to disperse. I negotiated that riding a tuk-tuk should be included in this tour, so we were able to take a tuk-tuk near the massage parlor, which was good, but...
