Hangzhou West Lake Boat Tour + Lingyin Temple/Song Dynasty City Day Trip (Departing from Shanghai/Hangzhou)

The west lake is attractive and immersive! I will come again if I’m at hangzhou. Overall, great experience.

we had sita as our guide for today. she was extremely organized and very communicative throughout. she took us to a local and inexpensive spot to each which was amazing. she gives lots of information on the history and culture of the landmarks we visit. she is diligent about making sure nobody gets left behind, as the crowds can be very hectic!

Good experience overall, the arrangement are well planned and well managed, sufficient times provided and no rushing. 5/5

There isn’t a proper seat allocation on the tour bus. We joined a tour where 4 of us are probably the only foreigners in the group of 40+ people. As their people weren’t so friendly and fought for the seats and viewing of items, it dampened the trip abit. however kudos to 叶导游.. she came to pick us from the railway stn and she ensured that the tour was on time for everyone to catch their returning transport.. she personally walked us back to the railway station after the bus dropped us off at the other side of the railway station where there was a huge construction site

the trip to Lingyin temple was abit hard especially for elders as we need to take public transport bus to the designation as the tour guide bus unable to enter to the location. it took about another 15 mins + 5 mins walks to the actual location.

It was interesting learning about the history of Hangzhou. We enjoyed the Song Cheng’s performance as well. However, the transport provided from Shanghai to Hangzhou and vice versa was rather uncomfortable.

The tour guide's explanation was very clear. It was excellent!

Leifeng Pagoda is worth it, really worth a visit.
