Steak House Pound (ステーキハウス 听) in Shijo Kawaharamachi - Premium Aged Wagyu Beef

Due to covid, the restaurant was not busy. There was only one other party during our dinner. We arrived on time at 1730 and said we had a reservation and they knew we were klook customers and immediately seated us and started bringing out the food in the order listed on website. Waitress knew basically no english which is ok. The order of the food didn’t quite make sense to us. We would of preferred to have both steak at the same time and with the rice but still, that’s ok. All the food tasted great. Lean meat a little salty but which made wasabi blend that much better. Would be nice if soft drink (no refills) were included in price. Overall it was good value. Went to couple teppanyaki and steakhouses with similar quality with overall cheaper price. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this deal.

This was our second time booking this experience and the food was just as amazing! We were lucky to visit the area twice and we made sure we could have dinner here again. The staff is wonderful and the steaks are delicious

Lots of food, lots, lots, full. The food provided is chet salad, cured beef, beef soup and beef fried rice. Delicious. But the texture is a bit sticky and not tasty

Good service and delicious food. Parts of steak were explained to us and the course dinner was so filling. Finished dinner with good matcha ice cream.

The meal size is enough for two people, the set dishes are also delicious, and the service staff is very good in English, so communication is not a problem.

When I first purchased the package, I wanted to avoid the trouble of finding a restaurant. However, I was disappointed by the meal and the quality of the food. From the time of entering the restaurant, the misunderstanding of the reservation, the cooking level of the meat, the process of the meal, the quality of the food, the level of service and the choice of the wine list are also completely relative to the level of the ordinary cafe in Hong Kong. It is the biggest regret of the entire ten-day journey.

It was a great meal! There was a good variety of dishes & we loved all of it. My partner and I enjoyed the dining experience a lot. The service staff was very friendly. Recommended!!

The food was really good and the wagyu (grade A2) was both tender and juicy. Alacarte would cost around 3,300 yen for a 225g wagyu aged beef. We got one of those Klook packages which came with appetizers (ham), fried rice, oxtail soup and caesar salad, and ice cream. The server was very polite and helpful, great service. Well worth the money for a yummy dinner.

Originally, I was listening to a friend's recommendation and saw that klook has an active volume to buy now! Absolutely not disappointed, the restaurant has a style worth coming again.

The restaurant manager and the waiter sister are super friendly and courteously cooked into steaks that are handled very well!
