One-day tour of Chongqing's 8D magical city

Great experience! However, take note that this tour doesn't have tour guide, you're only going with a local driver with a translation device and those joining the tour. The driver will just bring to your destination and will tell you when and where will be the pick up time and location. You and your your team will be on your own most of the time. The driver will ask you to join other tour groups in some attractions, he will give you all the information you need. There were only 5 people in our team. They're all Chinese and speak only Mandarin, except for the little girl who speaks English. They're all very nice and lovely people. I'm currently learning Mandarin, so I did enjoy my time with them. This is a very long tour, so you might not be able to finish everything. The driver will tell ask you anyway if you still want to proceed. They all stopped at one point. For me, I decided to go to one more location.

Good value for money. The tour included all the must-see tourist spots and a river cruise in Chongqing. The downside was a bit rush. The tour guide can only speak Mandarin and foreigners would need to use their own gadgets or get help from the other participants who can speak English. But overall, it was a very good experience.

We’re lucky because we joined the small group tour with 10 people only. This is a must day tour for the city’s highlight as it must be costly to go to the spots on your own because they’re far from each other. We joined the group with Chinese speaking folks from diff’t countries and the tour guide spoke in Chinese but messages us via WeChat as the app has a direct translation in it. It all went well. We a great time.

This one-day tour of Chongqing was really worth the money. The itinerary was well-planned and not rushed, so we had a fulfilling and comfortable day. Five-star rating for the driver, his service experience was top-notch. He was not only punctual and drove steadily, but also actively introduced attractions along the way and local trivia. He was particularly enthusiastic and easy to communicate with. He was also patient and waited for us at photo spots without any feeling of being rushed. The overall experience was very smooth and worry-free. Highly recommend this one-day tour for those visiting Chongqing for the first time or wanting a relaxing day of sightseeing.

the itinerary was good for a day. and makes it easier for tourists, not to have to plan as much. I joined the Chinese speaking tour, so I don’t know how it is for non-Chinese speaking experiences. we had pouring rain on the day of our tour, so that dampened the experience, but not the fault of the tour company.

Comfortable and less hassle way to explore Chongqing. The tour guide is very helpful. All destinations included in itinerary are worth it.

An amazing experience with everything you get to see! The only issue is that when booking Klook says there is English Translation which there was not. The guide had to ask another guest to translate for me. I ended up using a translation app and just getting what they were saying. Kinda annoying because by the time you have what was said you were already moving on.

It included numerous tourist spots, and the pace was relaxed. Our tour guide, Yu Ruichao, did a great job providing clear instructions despite the language barrier. I highly recommend this tour!

Thank you to our tour leader "Ah Xu" for taking us around Chongqing. Although I haven't joined many tour groups, he is the first one I've seen who constantly sends WeChat messages to remind group members of the meeting time and location (with pictures), and informs us 10 minutes in advance that we should slowly make our way back. From his introduction, I could tell that although he is young, he has a great passion for his work as a tour guide and is familiar with everything. Because our group members kept asking questions, he patiently answered them one by one. Thank you again, "Ah Xu."

I did a really last minute booking on the 28/5 for the 29/5 tour—they were really quick with their response. A couple of minutes after reserving the tour, I was told to add their WeChat and the arrangement was done from there. The communication was done quite swiftly and entirely in Chinese. I assumed the tour was going to be done in Chinese but I guess there were enough foreigners that we had Kevin, our English guide! He did an awesome job with most of the translation. The tour followed the places from the itinerary but not exactly in order. It's a lot of places in one day; we were given about 30 minutes to 1 hour to explore each area, but this wasn't an issue for me, given I only had a few days in Chongqing. The tour ends at Hongyadong in the evening. I would definitely recommend the city tour if anyone's visiting Chongqing 😊 If it were not for the tour, I think I would have missed out the best parts of the city.
