Reviews
The food is good, the location is near the port. Performance was good just that a little too rush on the make up and hairdo. Come early if possible. there are self-photo taking booth too
The concept was to enjoy a banquet while dining, but it didn't meet my expectations. The food isn't great for the price; the taste is just okay. The performers put on a good show, but I didn't really connect with it... I found this place thanks to Gaode Maps, but it seems like it would be hard to find when the days are shorter. It's on the 3rd or 4th floor of a wedding hall, on the rooftop. It's one of several wedding halls. At first, I thought I had come to the wrong place because there were no people and the signs were hard to find... But it's not complicated, and if you look around a bit, it's surprisingly easy to navigate. The address is Shandong, Qingdao, Shibei, Gangzhou Road, Youlun Mugang Passenger Transport Center Building 3.
I hesitated about posting a personal photo, but I'm posting it. I was really satisfied. There was a variety of clothes, and I liked the hair accessories. You can change clothes in the dressing room after choosing, and if you are not familiar with traditional clothing, the staff will help you wear it. Overall, the clothes were not old, and the colors were vibrant. I heard that's because it hasn't been open for long. The hair is usually done by a very skilled staff member in less than 10 minutes per person. I wondered if one person could take care of everyone since she works alone, but she creates amazing results at a fantastic speed. It was good. However, unlike the Wanghong experience that is popular in Korea these days, they don't apply eyelashes or do heavy makeup. They just trim your eyebrows a bit? Still, I think it's a unique experience to wear traditional clothes and enjoy a performance and meal together. If you are thinking about it, I highly recommend you do it, but there are quite a few Koreans, so I recommend you take pictures with a bit of boldness haha! Ah! The performance starts at 6:30 PM, but I recommend arriving by 4:30 PM, or 5 PM at the latest. If you arrive late, many of the pretty clothes will be gone, and you need time to take your own photos. Honestly, I was debating between Lan Chi Yien Phu, but I chose Guanbuyeon because I heard that Lan Chi Yien Phu's performance is more professional, Guanbuyeon's facilities and interior are more fancy and relatively new, and if you want to try on clothes, go to Guanbuyeon. I think it was a great choice. I hope everyone refers to this and has a pleasant trip!!
Never experienced anything like it before! Food, performances, and role-playing – a truly rich experience! The scenes were also meticulously decorated. Even though it was a weekday lunch and there were only 10 guests, everyone put on a great show. Thumbs up! Experience: A very special banquet
The venue was beautifully decorated and the performances were interesting. The food was exquisite and artfully presented, served with a pot of tea and wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our night
The immersive show in Qingdao was absolutely amazing, featuring a stunning performance and delicious food. The only small hiccup was that finding the venue was a bit confusing, as the manager didn’t provide much help for foreign guests. Still, the overall experience was fantastic and well worth it.
I booked a dinner course with meals included and VIP seats. It was an itinerary full of Chinese characteristics and stories, so it was the place I was most looking forward to during this Qingdao trip. Our accommodation was right in front of May Fourth Square, and it took about 20-30 minutes by taxi. The taxi driver dropped us off right in front, so it wasn't difficult to find the entrance, and there were arrows on the floor to guide you to the entrance of Guanbuyan, so it wasn't difficult to find. Honestly, the course meal itself was just an experience of something novel. I hope it can be improved next time. But the stage interior, lighting, and dance troupe's performance were the best. There were more Chinese people than I thought, and there were also some Koreans and foreigners. The MC also played games in between and gave out prizes. My group was randomly selected, but since they didn't speak any Chinese, they were able to pass it on with sense and the proceedings were very good. If I ever go to Qingdao again, I think I will visit again. I took adults with me and it was good. Oh, and if you're going to make a reservation, make it for the VIP seats if possible. It's not that the regular seats don't have a view of the stage, but it's definitely different. The performance was the best!!
It is easy to get there and back to my hotel in 市南 using Didi (was concern at first). Very beautiful experience that complete my Qingdao holiday.
Add on costume, a lot to choose from. come early to choose it. Make up and hairdo as well. come early
I was contacted by a representative beforehand, which was a good experience. Upon arrival, I first selected an outfit, then got dressed up. I chose to have a weekday lunch, so it wasn't crowded, and I could take my time getting ready. After finishing, it also included a free instant photo and a digital file. The process was fun! Experience: Special
