Reviews
The drive to the South Rim is really quite long! I took my 82-year-old father to see the Grand Canyon this time, not knowing that the entire walk would be 5 kilometers. I only found out about this part of the itinerary on the day of the tour. If you want the tour guide to take you there specifically, it's an additional $25 per person. Breakfast and dinner are also extra, so it was quite tiring...
Amazing experience. Thanks to our tour guide and driver.
I participated in a Grand Canyon tour. I was worried about participating from overseas, but our guide, Curdy, kindly responded to us despite not understanding English. The explanations on the bus were easy to understand and very informative. I highly recommend this tour to tourists from overseas.
everything was perfect. Layla was a great host!
Very cost-effective activity, no extra charge. Departed at 5 am and returned to downtown Las Vegas at 10:30 pm. The tour guide was very experienced. We visited Route 66 and saw the town with the background of Cars. It was amazing! The Grand Canyon has beautiful scenery. On the way back, we also went to see the night view of the dam.
I had taken day trips to the Grand Canyon by plane many times before, but because I have a family of four, I decided to go with this inexpensive tour. The result was a great success! Up until now, I had moved by bus to each viewpoint, but the second and third locations started to feel a little repetitive. On this tour, you are dropped off at Mather Point and then re-gather at Bright Angel Lodge, and in between, you can freely walk along the trails at your own pace. There are about 3 hours to do this, and it takes about an hour if you go directly, but if you take pictures at various points, it goes by in a flash. It's a good idea to set Google Maps and check the time to be safe. I felt like I had really come to the Grand Canyon, much more so than moving from point to point by bus! I can definitely recommend this tour!
We had a very enjoyable day with our Guide Curty explaining us with lots of humour about Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
Tour was great and well organized. One issue was with the pick up point. The tour operator does not pick up from individual hotels but the website asks for the selection of the preferred hotel pick up. In reality, it assigns common pick up points. The operator should be straightforward in stating that they only pick up from a common area. Hence, they should revise the info so as not to confuse the public. Also, customers come from different countries so it would be better if asking for a tip is conveyed in a gentle manner. A simple statement that tip is appreciated would sound good. Grand canyon was awesome!
this is a must if you are going to US
There were several issues with this tour, most important being inaccurate communication 1. The tour description at the time of booking stated 12 hours however it took 16 hours (I see that this has now been rectified) 2. Additional costs were not in the description. For instance, pay 25 usd extra if you want to stay on the bus and not hike within the Grand Canyon for 3 miles. 3. We had to pre-reserve breakfast and dinner at one specific diner at an added cost, however it was not communicated that there will be another stop for breakfast where we could have picked and chosen. 4. The management of the stop for meals seemed enforced. Especially as there were 2 breakfast breaks within 30 mins of each other. Overall, though our guide was nice, the tour could have been managed in a much better, more efficient way and transparency in communication would be the bare minimum expectation. I would recommend to update the tour description with these minute details.
