What to expect
Hakone Komagatake Ropeway Operating since 1963, the “Hakone Komagatake Ropeway” provides access to Hakone’s second highest peak, Mount Komagatake. It offers panoramic 360-degree views, overlooking Lake Ashi and the outer rim of the Hakone mountains, as well as distant views of Mount Fuji, Sagami Bay, and Suruga Bay.

Hakone Mototsumiya Shrine Mount Komagatake has been a sacred site for mountain worship since ancient times, evoking memories of bygone days. Located at the summit of Mount Hakone Komagatake, Mototsumiya is the inner shrine of Hakone Shrine. Rebuilt in 1964, solemn rituals have been continuously held here ever since, attracting many climbers and worshippers throughout the year. In addition to the solemn shrine buildings, the view from here overlooks the beautiful scenery of the Hakone area, combined with the beautiful torii gate of Hakone Mototsumiya Shrine, creating a spectacular sky torii view!
Hakone Pirate Ship Ride Experience The Hakone Pirate Ship is modeled after 17th-19th century warships, and its unique appearance is one of the most famous symbols of Lake Ashi in Hakone.
