Sichuan Jiuzhaigou Huanglong High-Speed Rail Round Trip Pure Play 2-Day Tour (Optional English-Speaking Private Tour)

Was looking for a fuss free and worry free 2D1N tour to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong scenic area and picked this package on Klook. We were given clear instructions on when and where to meet, and were met at the Train station by our guide- 阿朵. She was energetic, really knowledgeable and friendly, her tips on which viewpoints to make time for and which are optional really helped make my experience great. We had sufficient time for all the stops, it did not feel rushed. For context, 我是来体验的，不是来打卡的。Both scenic areas were really gorgeous, do take the time to just admire. And as promised by our guide 阿朵，this tour had no forced shopping. Tip: take the cable car up to the Huanglong scenic area. it makes the visit much easier especially for older folks/people who are less mobile.

The itinerary was a bit packed, but traveling by bullet train (dongche) was more comfortable than I expected, saving both time and effort. On the first day, we visited Huanglong. Climbing the mountain was definitely tiring, but the scenery was overwhelmingly beautiful. We stayed near the entrance of Jiuzhaigou that night, and the hotel was clean and convenient. We entered Jiuzhaigou early on the second day, and the lake waters and waterfalls were unexpectedly beautiful, greatly exceeding my expectations. The personal concierge service was also very attentive, reminding me in advance to bring oxygen tanks and warm clothing. The tour guide also provided detailed explanations and arrangements throughout the trip and was very meticulous. Overall, the experience was good. The only minor issue was feeling a little rushed, but I am quite satisfied with being able to visit both Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou in two days.

Overall, this two-day tour was a great experience. The itinerary was packed but well-organized, and the round-trip bullet train was much more relaxing than a bus, saving a lot of time. The scenery in Jiuzhaigou definitely lived up to its reputation; the lake water was clear, and the colors were vibrant – so beautiful it didn't seem real. The butler and tour guide services were also very considerate, providing detailed reminders before the trip and explanations at the scenic spots. They also responded to questions in the group in a timely manner. The overall experience was great, but the two-day itinerary was a bit tight, making it suitable for friends who have limited time but still want to check it out.

A packed itinerary but a worthwhile experience! We took the bullet train from Chengdu to Songpan Station with the kids, then transferred to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. Although two days was a bit rushed, the kids were thrilled to see the colorful ponds and the waters of Jiuzhaigou! The butler service was very attentive, helping us book tickets and shuttle buses in advance, saving us a lot of time in line. The only suggestion is to allow an extra half-day for rest if you are traveling with children, but overall it is very suitable for a short family trip.

As a family traveling with children, our biggest concerns are tiring itineraries and inconvenient arrangements. This two-day trip was very family-friendly for us. The bullet train ride was smooth, so the children didn't feel uncomfortable. The butler arranged a private car to take us from the station to the scenic area in advance, which saved us a lot of trouble. The butler thoughtfully suggested that we take the cable car both up and down Huanglong, which greatly saved our energy. We also saw the highlights of Jiuzhaigou, such as Rhinoceros Lake, Five-Flower Lake, and Pearl Shoal Waterfall. The children were curious and excited throughout the trip. Although two days was a bit of a challenge, thanks to the reasonable arrangements and the butler's attentive service (such as reminding us to prepare warm clothes and snacks), the whole trip went very smoothly. Highly recommended to other families.

We booked a large group tour with our children, and before we left, our biggest concern was the high-speed rail tickets and connecting to the scenic spots. However, the entire trip went very smoothly. On the day we visited Jiuzhaigou, we were in the park for a full 6 hours, from morning until afternoon. Our tour guide planned our route in advance, ensuring we visited Changhai and Wuhua Sea first to avoid the midday crowds. The water was so blue that the children kept exclaiming in wonder. The day at Huanglong was even more thoughtful; the guide suggested we take the ropeway up and walk down. The Five-Color Ponds were completely full and shimmered golden in the sunlight. The next afternoon, we took the high-speed train back to Chengdu and were home before 8 PM. There were no shopping stops throughout the trip, and the guide provided commentary on the scenery and culture during the bus rides.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful! It was a bit busy, but we were able to hit the highlights and see the essential sights in a short amount of time. Our guide was very kind and explained everything thoroughly, even though we weren't fluent in the local language.

The advantage of a large group tour is that everything is pre-arranged, so you don't have to think about anything. The downside is that the time spent at each attraction is fixed. For example, at Huanglong, a few people in our group were slow, and the whole bus had to wait for half an hour, which made the tour guide a bit anxious. Overall, Jiuzhaigou is worth seeing this season; there are fewer people, the scenery is beautiful, and it's not crowded. Taking Rhodiola in advance was effective. Recommended.

Taking the high-speed train with my parents saved us the eight or nine hours of bumpy mountain roads from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. We arrived in Zhenjiangguan in just over two hours, then transferred to a bus to enter the scenic area, which made the journey feel more than twice as easy. Jiuzhaigou was indeed crowded in the peak season of July, but the staff had sent us an entry guide in the group chat the day before, teaching us how to avoid the first wave of crowds. We headed straight for Rize Valley first and then worked our way down, hardly waiting in line at all. While it was a bit rushed to see both Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong in two days, it's understandable given the round trip of over a thousand kilometers.

The high-speed rail direct access is truly the best decision Sichuan made for Jiuzhaigou, allowing this beautiful scenery to be reached within a few hours. This greatly saves time wasted on travel, making the visit more fulfilling! In just two days, you can explore Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong without tiring out parents, adults, or children. The exploration is thorough, and the accommodation arrangements are reasonable and close to the scenic area! The product design is excellent! I trust Klook; every itinerary I choose is great!
