Private Day Tour to Wulong, Chongqing

We booked this trip last-minute, the night before departure, and the platform's efficiency was outstanding; we were able to depart smoothly the next morning. Before we left, our driver, Mr. Tan Anwei, professionally and responsibly conducted a pre-trip vehicle inspection. He even meticulously discovered a nail in a tire and promptly took care of it, which put us completely at ease. The round trip to Wulong involves long mountain roads, and Mr. Tan's careful driving made us feel very secure throughout the entire day. During the whole journey, our driver was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to our needs. He not only gave us ample time for photos and videos but also provided rain gear when the weather turned bad that day. For lunch, Mr. Tan specifically considered our vegetarian needs and took us to a fantastic local Chongqing restaurant that was clean, delicious, unique, and very reasonably priced. Furthermore, because the itinerary involved a lot of walking, the car was stocked with plenty of bottled mineral water, and the air conditioning temperature was adjusted to our preferences at all times, providing impeccable service. Along the way, our driver enthusiastically explained the attractions and introduced us to many famous Chongqing sights and its culture. The Wujiang Gallery was not originally on our itinerary, but on the way back, our driver specially took a route that passed by a section of the Wujiang River and explained its features, making our day trip both fulfilling and smooth. This private charter in Chongqing Wulong was a perfect experience. For lunch, he specifically considered our vegetarian needs and took us to a very popular local Chongqing restaurant, which was clean, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Along the way, he explained each spot and introduced us to famous Chongqing tourist attractions and culture. What made us happiest was that, although it wasn't in the original plan, he specially changed the route on the way back to pass along the Wujiang River and explained its features in detail. Thanks to this, it became a very fulfilling and wonderful day.

Service: Our lady driver, 耍耍, provided exceptional service. She was very friendly and clearly explained how to board the shuttle buses at the Wulong Visitor Centre and the transfer route to Longshuixia Fissure Gorge. Thanks to her excellent planning, we enjoyed both attractions immensely and were given ample time to stroll through the stunning landscapes at our own pace.

Glad we chose this less expensive way to do Wulong. Our driver turned out to be good and took time to explain things well to us. We used translation apps, so his lack of English wasn’t really a problem. Tip: Wulong attractions are very straightforward nature hiking experiences, so you won’t really need a dedicated tour guide the whole time to enjoy them.

Ms Gou, our lady driver was very friendly and vehicle was clean n comfy. Would recommend charter as it is fuss free and the journey is around 2 n half to 3hr depending on traffic.

Getting a private van for 5 persons was the best choice over going there on your own or joining another big group. We visited fairy mountain and Wulong Karst. Took a whole day as it was far. Just be prepared for a very long walk in Wulong Karst because we did not know that it was a very long path and we are with 3 seniors so just keep that in mind but the scenery was very beautiful. Our driver also recommended a chicken hotpot place which was very delicious even for people who are not into local Chinese food. The ride was smooth though the back part of the van has less legroom so I could only say that it might be uncomfortable if you're more than 5. But would highly recommend their package as they were very prompt and easy to talk to even though we're only using wechat to communicate.

The agency contacted us two days before the tour firstly on WhatsApp and then organised the driver to reach out on WeChat which he did with clear information about the car, pickup location etc. The car was comfortable and spotless and was punctual. The journey was super comfortable both ways with smooth driving. The driver sent me info about how to visit the attractions including info about buying tickets, which buses to take etc. Made for a very easy and stress less experience. The sights themselves were absolutely incredible. So glad I did this. Totally worth it.

Definitely recommend booking this private day tour, Master Jiang was extremely helpful and communicative the whole time. He arranged our tickets while we first met so we didn’t have to stop by the ticket centers to purchase. The ride was very smooth the whole time. One of the most beautiful and grand landscapes to visit!

We took route 2 and head out around 8:20am. The ride was about 3hrs with a pit stop for quick snacks (at your cost). When we arrived at Wulong Karst, it was super quick and smooth to get ticket and started the track. In general, the trip was a good experience with this organiser travel agency. They send confirmation and have a proper group chat through WeChat for all details and communication. Our driver -Master Xing is super legend, he helped us with ticket purchase and suggestion for the day. He is such a good and safe driver, very professional.
