Choose the blade you’d like to sharpen from different types available (some with a small additional fee) and dive into sharpening.
Learn how to achieve the perfect blade shape and sharpness from bilingual Japanese crew. They are always nearby to guide your movements, chat, and offer personalized advice in a cozy atmosphere. Please, feel free to ask any question about knives or Japanese culture.
Finish by engraving sakura leaves or your name in Japanese on the handle and attaching it with a traditional hammer to complete your one-of-a-kind knife.

13-year-old wanted to do this, and was able to follow along and finish. Staff was great in both English and Japanese. Did final sharpening/polishing of a provided blade and burned writing/art onto the wooden handle.
