it’s a great experience! the venue is beautiful, it’s a hotel. there are screens with the subtitles. to find the location search for the name of the hotel, don’t use the location on the map from klook because it took me somewhere else.

Simply beautiful! The show is of super quality and the stories presented are so gripping that by the end you wish it lasted longer. The artists are amazing and the service in the theatre is really special. Highly reccomended

Beautiful show, definitely recommend! It was fun to have a nice table in the front row with tea and Beijing sweets. Easy to buy vouchers on Klook, to be redeemed at the theatre.

After entering the hotel, go to the ticket booth on the left to exchange your ticket and enter. There are no Japanese audio guides available. Chinese and English subtitles are displayed on both sides of the stage. I took a photo of today's program displayed at the entrance and asked ChatGPT to summarize the content for me. After showing my ticket and entering, the actors were having their makeup and costumes applied on stage. There were also wagon vendors where you could buy alcohol and snacks. There were also snacks on the table seats. It's only about an hour long, and you can eat and drink, so it wasn't stuffy at all, which was great.

The performance is wonderful and the plot is comfortable. I thought Peking Opera was boring, but it turned out to be very good. There are also some funny parts. It is worth recommending

Liyuan Theatre has been awarded the Beijing Tourism Forbidden City Cup for "Best Evening Activity Venue" for 7 consecutive years.
The theatre consists of 3 parts: a performance hall, an exhibition hall, and a sales hall. Around the audience seats, there are 8 large Peking Opera facial masks and 14 Peking Opera character painted screens depicting scenes.
The exhibition hall displays the 200-year history of Peking Opera art, and the sales hall offers Peking Opera handicrafts and souvenirs for purchase. Visitors can also try on opera costumes and have their faces painted for commemorative photos.
The main audience of the theatre consists of foreign tourists, and the repertoire primarily features excerpts from operas. Electronic displays are set up in the audience hall to show the lyrics in both Chinese and English.
