this was actually my first cooking class and it was so much fun. I brought my kids. it did start off rough patch because the driver who picked us up was late and I kind of felt nauseous but just driving. I met the chef he, took us to the market, and we cooked. my kids really enjoyed it and so did I and it’s surprising when the flames came up. all the food you cook you eat and it’s a lot. It’s so worth the money that you pay. He also gives you a little cookbook at the end. I highly recommend this and I would do this again.
I had such a wonderful experience in this cooking class! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, engaging, and enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Chef Shoni is truly passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly talented. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I learned so many useful techniques and tips that I can apply in my own kitchen. You can really feel the love and dedication behind every step of the class. I left feeling inspired, more confident in my cooking skills, and very satisfied with everything we created. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun, hands-on, and memorable culinary experience!
This was a amazing experience learning how to cook Balinese food, yummy and the staff where incredible and funny.
Very convenient to get to. Very warm and attentive staff. Our instructor, Made, was knowledgeble and paced the tour and lesson well. Even though we did not get to make the dessert, we had already made a lot of dishes and got a scrumptious lunch at the end, with the dessert prepared by the staff. A Highly enjoyable session!
Me and my friend enjoyed the cooking class. First we visited a local market and then we went to the Warung Mufu. Everything was well prepared. We started with the spices to make pastes and after that we cooked many dishes. Everyone got to be the chef once and it was a lot of fun. Chef Soni explained everything very well. Afterwards we got to enjoy our cooked meals together. It was delicious. We recommend this experience if you're here in Bali and are looking for a fun activity.
We chose Mufu Cooking Class as it had everything we want to learn on the Menu compared with the others. We had to pay extra for hotel pickup as it was out of the free zone. Driver came on time and brought us to the market tour and the Warung cooking class. Our guide and chef, Soni was extremely welcoming, expert knowledge (and cooking skills) and so funny! Had a wonderful time learning Balinese food and some hands on cooking experience. We also get to eat the food in the end. Definitely would recommend Mufu Cooking Class.
Cooking class was worth the time, so many dishes that we’ve learnt today and they were delicious. Chef and his team was super helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the whole experience. Place was clean and everything was perfect.
Chefs were the best! There is such a wide variety of dishes, and each one is introduced with a detailed recipe. It was a precious experience to share with my family in Bali.
The teacher was very kind, and the Australian couple in our group were also very nice. It was a pleasant experience.
I attended this class in a group of 10 people ranging from 10 years old to into their 70s. We all really enjoyed the class. Soni was an excellent teacher and guide. He was funny and engaging and very informative about what he was teaching from the market tour to the cooking. The market tour, whilst interesting, was quite small and you didn't spend a lot of time there. The cooking and preparing was our favourite part. Learning about the ingredients, the techniques for preparing the pastes and finally the cooking and the different levels of heat, was a lot of fun. When we finished all the cooking we were able to sit down and enjoy our meals. The food was delicious and extremely filling. We were giving a small recipe book to take home, a certificate at the end and Listia (the local paparazzi 😉) took photos and videos all during our session and sent them through later that day. These personal touches made our day special. Would 100% recommend to anyone!
