wonderful, I suggest to research exactly the address before going ( best to call), it's top floor of an old building by stairs, self served acrylic painting. One drink was included. Manhwa is very interesting I high recommend this activity for a quiet artistic oasis in Seoul
A cozy little art café tucked away in a quiet alley in Seoul — for less than 20€, you can join a painting session using acrylics (or go wild with oil pastels or colored pencils if you like). You even get to choose from cool references — some inspired by Joseon Dynasty art! The instructor was the sweetest, super fun and chill, and just lets you do your thing. I totally fell in love with this place — the vibe is immaculate. You can also book it for cute dates or birthday parties!
I loved the space! It was off the beaten path and offered a wonderful place to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. I’m not an artist, but enjoyed the opportunity to spend a couple hours exploring my creative side.
loved every bit of it. The lady was very information and kind. Loved the service. Foreign friendly. Easy to get too. A bit of a walk if you don’t know we’re you’re going.
Worth every single penny! I am not an "art person" by any means, but I absolutely loved this experience. I went with my 8 years old son, and it was a major highlight for both of us. Nice photos you can take too! What I want to emphasize most is how wonderful it felt to stop into a beautiful, completely digital free world. It truly brings back the nostalgic joy of making art just like when you were young. There is absolutely no pressure or stress here. no one is trying to teach you what to do or forcing a specific method. They simply give you the freedom to createwhatever you want. My son had a blast, and while they have brushes, I loved the tactile experience of just using my fingers and hand to paint. Getting there is half the adventure! The walk takes you through a charming classic Korean Neighborhood. It's a wonderful hidden gem. You might constantly question whether you're in the right place along the way, but that just adds to the magic. *Canvas requires seperatate fee
It had been a very long time since I last painted, and I found myself staring at the canvas for a while. There were examples to follow, and I also had the freedom to paint whatever I liked. For an additional 35,000 won, I painted on a canvas. Although it was supposed to be two hours, it took me about two and a half hours, but they kindly let me stay, haha. There was a good selection of drinks, and the latte I had was delicious. If I get the chance again, I'd like to go and hopefully paint a little better next time. It was a lot of fun.
This was a great experience. Off a busy street in Seoul, this cafe gives you a comfortable environment to paint and unwind. Lana the host is very friendly and warm and helps you with whatever material you need. She lets you paint without interfering in your creative process.
It's been a while since I was able to concentrate on painting, and it was really refreshing! The place is a little off the main road, in a place with a local feel, and the interior has a stylish atmosphere. The owner was friendly, and he gave me advice about painting and we had a lot of personal conversations. Thank you for a wonderful time.
very cute and welcoming space to enjoy a few hours creating. can make your own or use examples, staff very welcoming and the milk tea was delicious
It’s a beautiful quiet little art cafe tucked away in an alley close to the train station. The lady working at the cafe was absolutely lovely and spoke great english. The drinks were good, I had a hibiscus guava tea and a milk tea, both delicious. They have lots of good quality acrylic paints, oil pastels and coloured pencils. You can pay extra to paint on a canvas and to stay longer. I ended up staying for five hours, a great way to spend a chill afternoon!
