The views along the golden circle are stunning, especially the waterfall.
The visit to the Blue Lagoon was the highlight, but even this was undermined by a lack of useful information. The low sun reflecting off the milky water caused intense glare, making it difficult to enjoy without sunglasses. Unfortunately, the guide didn’t mention this in advance—precisely the kind of practical tip you would expect from a good tour guide. A beautiful destination, but the experience was let down by inadequate communication.
