This card helped me saved a lot during my stay in Vienna due to unlimited use of public transporation and with some discounts in entrance fee of various museum and library.
Very easy to download and use. Can just show the QR code on the app to travel around and visit sightseeing places for free/discounted price.
Very useful for traveling around Vienna with a complete network of metro, bus, tram transportation. Easy to activate, when you arrive at the airport, install IVIE (playstore) fill in the data, finish, open your email to confirm/activate, the QR code will automatically appear in the IVIE app. For Austria, install OBB to make it easier to find transportation anywhere.
very convenient and cheap. if you want to take trains/bus multiple times in a day. like more than 5. Go for mobile ticket option. just purchase on Klook, Redeem on official site and use IVIE app to carry your city card ticket. If you still have time left. just choose some Tram route to explore. 😀
This card has a very high cost-performance ratio. I recommend purchasing at least a 48 or 72-hour card to have enough time to take advantage of the discounts and offers when visiting attractions!
After purchasing on Klook, you will receive an email. Then, download the dedicated city card app and enter a serial number from the English document attached to the Klook email within the app (the document will explain which serial number to use) to activate the card. The process is a little complex, but not too difficult. Although you can buy a transportation card directly in the app, Klook is cheaper after comparing prices. Using the city card is very convenient, and you can ride almost any public transportation within the city. Just show the barcode in the app to the ticket inspector (although they don't check tickets often). You can also get discounts on many attractions (such as the Natural History Museum) with this card.
Must-have item which is very convenient and trouble-free. You can take any public transportation as much as you like.
When traveling with family and friends, buy a 72-hour city pass in advance and redeem it on the system and download it on your personal mobile phone in advance. This will not only reduce the hassle of buying tickets on site, but also make full use of public transportation to enjoy Vienna.
Vienna City Card is very easy to book and use. Buy, download the app, open the card, save the data in the phone app, convenient to use immediately.
Download the ivie app and you can open it directly on your mobile phone, which is very convenient without having to redeem it physically! It is recommended that you don’t need to buy it if you live in the inner city, because most of the attractions can be reached on foot XD Vienna is a city with very developed public transportation. There are trams and subways, and it is fast and uncomplicated to go anywhere (most popular attractions can be reached within 25 minutes)! I was checked once when I left the station during the 9 days I went. Don’t take chances when you go out to play. Spend money on safe items and make the most of them🇦🇹✨
