What to expect
Depart from Guilin City or Yangshuo to the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area in northern Guilin. Hike through the Ping'an Zhuang Village and the 800-year-old Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area. Enjoy 2-3 hours of free time walking among the rice terraces, learning about the local ethnic customs and the lives of local residents. After the tour, return to Guilin City or Yangshuo County.

There is no tour guide at all. The driver only takes us to the scenic spots and we do the activities by ourselves. There is no tour guide to explain on the way! The Dragon's Back attraction is free for those over 65 years old. Three of us are over 65 years old, but the tour group did not refund the money to us. The only good thing is that the driver's service attitude is very good and the driving is very safe, which is worthy of praise. All in all, I am very dissatisfied with the tour you arranged. I will consider whether to use you to arrange other tour groups in the future, because I will travel frequently in the next few months and hope to join a free tour, but after this experience I am very dissatisfied with you.
Good to know
- Please select your departure city: Guilin or Yangshuo.
- Please prepare comfortable walking shoes or comfortable sneakers, drinking water, a hat, sunscreen clothing, a raincoat or umbrella. You will be hiking for 2-3 hours in the village and rice terraces.
- The driver will help you purchase tickets and take you to the village entrance. The driver cannot enter the village. You can hike and visit the rice terraces according to the obvious signposts.
- There are many restaurants in the village where you can have lunch.
- The return meeting point is at the village parking lot, usually between 15:00-16:00.
- This trip is a comprehensive package. The selected tickets and experiences are based on travel agency cooperation agreement prices, and you cannot enjoy the discounts for the elderly and children noted by the scenic spot. If you are satisfied with the driver’s service, you can voluntarily give a tip after the trip to express your encouragement and support for the driver’s hard work.
