Korankei & Obara Fureai Park 1-Day Cherry Blossom & Maple Leaf Tour

Visiting Korankei and Obara in autumn is a wonderful experience. The autumn leaves in Korankei and the shikizakura (cherry blossoms) in Obara are so beautiful. It’s a special experience you wouldn’t want to miss. The guide and driver were very kind and made the trip even better. Highly recommended!

I joined the tour on November 24, 2024. Almost all the Shiki Sakura in the park area have fallen out, and there are still some views in the parking lot. It’s just incidental and not the focus, so it’s ok. This time, the focus is on the Xianglan River. I have reserved 2.5 hours, which is plenty of time. I haven’t met my crush yet, but the green and yellow leaves are also very colorful and beautiful. There are also large ginkgo and gassho houses, and the fried shrimp tempura is served. The roe is very delicious. There are five small portions in a portion. After being stored for a long time, the rice still maintains the temperature and is not oily. It is very suitable for this trip.

I participated in a one-day trip on November 18th. Although the four-season cherry blossoms in Ohara were not in full bloom and there were not many red leaves, the weather was very good that day and the scenery was beautiful! There are more red leaves in Xianglan River, and the ginkgo has also turned golden! You can stay here for 2 hours. It is also a flat road along the stream. You can also enjoy the red leaves and sit by the stream to eat the dumplings, which are very flavorful. There are also many food and souvenir shops in the scenic spot!

my 1st time in obara fureai, the shikizakura is no longer visible the time we visit. while in korankei is my 2nd time ( my 1st time is DIY) unlike before its too much crowded and a lot of food stall located in alleyway that cause unmmovable line . as much as possible avoid weekend booking too much traffic. But anyway i did enjoy the in both place you can feel the autumn vibe. Our tour guide is also nice and speak english well for foreign touriat who join the tour. kudos!!!

It is more convenient to get into the parking space this time. It is on the 4th floor of the Meitetsu Bus Station. It is okay to have an English tour guide. Although the red leaves are not in full bloom, it is already beautiful. Half to an hour more than the Koran River is the best, because I originally returned to Nagoya Station at 4 o'clock , but it’s already 3:15, so it’s recommended to add half an hour to make a total of 3 hours.

When you arrive at Meitetsu Bus Center Level 4, go to the Klook reception, the guide will check your name and give you your tag and bus infromation. This is a mostly Japanese tour (about 10 out of 44 seats were foreigners). The guide spoke in Japanese mostly. We had an English guide with us as well, she didn't explain as much but that's to be expected based on the Klook description. The tour went smoothly and everyone was on time which I really appreciated (only 1 was late by 5min when we headed back from Korankei, which was a far cry from another bus tour I took the day before..). We returned to Meitetsu bus centre at 3pm. The timing given for each location was just nice. I had a 1yo with me, there're no changing rooms/nursing rooms along the way so be prepared to change on the go and prepare enough hot water for milk.

Bus tour was organized and easy to find. tour guide was good. we had a lovely day at the places visited overall.

Efficient guides. Enjoyable trip. The bus passed through a framing community and we enjoyed the scenic view of it and the surrounding forest.
