Private 2-Hour Nile River Cruise with Gourmet Meals in Cairo

Experience: We are Taiwanese, and this was our first time booking a private felucca dinner tour in Egypt through this platform. Overall, it was pretty good. The driver who picked us up was very funny. Knowing that we were Taiwanese, he specifically played the national anthem and Taiwanese songs along the way. Later, we found out that he was also a part-time tour guide, accompanying us on the felucca and then taking us back to the hotel after the tour. He helped us take photos and chatted with us a little. But it really gets cold at night, and the food got cold, too. It's worth experiencing once. We tipped the captain and the local guide with a 4:6 split.

The driver was nice and on time. When we arrived the pier, there was a decent restaurant and boat was docked right in front of the restaurant. The decoration of the boat was nice with plenty of space for 6 of us. The food was not very good as it was so windy during the boat ride, making the food cold. We were not comfortable about the smoking of the captain. The staff serving food on the boat was very nice and helpful. He helped taking good pictures of our group.

The time we specified was probably too late, but it was very cold and the food took a long time to prepare. It would also be helpful if they could tell us the recommended time to visit initially. You can't enjoy the scenery if it's too late. The driver was a nice person, but he was very talkative and talked the whole time, which was a bit tiring. It would be nice to have Japanese language support.
