We had a patient driver and a wonderful boat person. The Felucca was a quiet and wonderful boat with a kind boat person. However, it was quite a run down part of the Nile. The boat person pointed out a few buildings but it was mostly cluttered with run down hotels, a dirty Nile and not particularly scenic. In all honesty, wouldn't redo and very grateful we didn't take the big cruise or the dinner time entertainment!

Felucca on River Nile. It was very nice experience. Amazing view and exotic boat. Reservation was very smooth (I booked one day before.). It could have been better with some explanation about Egypt, Felucca or the buildings in Cairo. Good Experience in Egypt!
We were lucky enough to have a private charter, which ultimately made it very cost-effective. It was wonderful to relax and enjoy a leisurely time, even lying down on the felucca. However, my satisfaction was largely due to having the boat to ourselves; if we had shared it with others, my satisfaction would have been much lower. The boarding area was generally empty.
We were able to slowly watch a very beautiful sunset. We also had lots of pictures taken and were very satisfied!
Our driver, AHMED, was very accommodating with the time and a very nice person. The driver gets 5 stars. However, the boat isn't motorized, so it took a very long time to depart, and the boatman was persistent about tips, so the boat gets 3 stars.
It was really fun and emotional experience. luckily, there were only us. the driver Mohamed Salah was really kind. thank u so much!!
