Reviews
It was very close and nice, about an hour from Valencia. It was chilly in the morning, but it was nice to arrive early and have a simple meal and drink. The explanation was friendly and detailed, so it was easy to understand. The inside of the cave was also really nice. We arrived at the starting point before 12 o'clock.
Great way to spend a day away from the bustle of city. Valencia and it's history on the way to the caves is an additional bit of knowledge shared by the guides. The caves are just a must visit place if you are in València.
very well organized and wonderful experience. nice place to visit.
The water color is truly jade. It's fun to take a boat tour through the cave.
I booked an English tour, but it ended up being only in Spanish. There were two guides for the entire trip. One guide picked us up on the bus and took us to the destination (this guide spoke both Spanish and English), but once inside the cave, there was a different guide (responsible for rowing the boat) who only spoke Spanish. Since all the tourists on the bus are divided into different small boats, each boat has someone responsible for rowing, and this rower becomes your guide. Also, once inside the cave, there's only a short 1-minute window at a specific location where you're allowed to take photos and videos, so it might not be suitable if you want to document the trip. However, if you want to experience it, it's beautiful and spectacular.
The bus had no aircon at all during a 1hr transfer to the location during the summer. Despite marketed as a English tour, the boat guide wasnt bilingual and spoke mostly Spanish. 10/10 do not recommend.
