Panglao Virgin & Balicasag Islands Half-Day Snorkeling Tour

This package included lunch, and breakfast was a simple bread and Sprite. I especially loved the barbecue on the boat. I booked this boat specifically after seeing a blogger's barbecue, which saved me the trouble of asking around once I got there. The communication before departure was very smooth, and our guide on the day was excellent. They started grilling the barbecue on the way to Balicasag Island, haha, it smelled so good! My boyfriend and I both love Filipino grilled pork and chicken. There weren't many people on our boat that day, just six of us, so the experience was great. However, sometimes there might be more people, as I've seen larger boats too. We didn't rent a GoPro, but the guide recorded videos and took photos for us for free. These were taken when we went diving again after returning from Balicasag. I can't swim, but I fell in love with snorkeling and even fed the fish. Oh, and we saw many dolphins and lots of sea turtles, as well as sea snakes. The experience was fantastic! Since I love barbecue so much, I spontaneously decided to write a good review. It seems many local tours don't include lunch, so it's a good idea to confirm that in advance. This is for everyone's reference.

I highly recommend this trip for a first timer. The Kuyas made me feel comfortable even if I was by myself. Also, it was the perfect beach weather - I saw the dolphins, turtles, and fishes in the same day! Lunch was yummy grilled food.

It was an adventure worth the time and money spent! We were extremely lucky to see wild dolphins while cruising. We were also able to snorkel and see some marine life and corals without having to worry about the heat, it was a perfect day to do the activities indeed. The food served onboard were also delicious and plenty enough for all of the guests. Our boat guides were also accommodating and made sure we were hydrated all throughout our tour. I highly recommend this tour while you’re in Panglao!

We were very lucky on this trip to see dolphins out at sea, and snorkeling we saw various tropical fish and marine life. Beautiful islands and beautiful people, this itinerary is super worthwhile. The lunch was plentiful, and vegetarian options were also provided with ample food. The staff provided good service. Itinerary arrangement: Although the hotel pick-up and drop-off service is very attentive, the car is too small, and passengers bump their heads when getting in. Carpooling, however, some people were not ready, but others had to wait in the hot car. I hope the arrangements can be more comfortable and convenient.

This is an amazing tour! I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but the pick-up time was punctual and there were plenty of guides providing safe and continuous care. When I first got in the pick-up truck in front of the hotel, there were about 12 people and we moved to Momo Beach. From Momo Beach to Balicasag Island, we moved on a large boat with about 16 people. When we arrived at Balicasag Island, we switched to a small boat and started snorkeling, which was conducted in small groups of 3 to 4 people, and one guide continuously took care of us. I didn't see dolphins, but I saw a lot of different fish and also turtles! We moved to another point for free swimming, and the water was so clear and clean at every point that I saw more fish than ever before in my life. When you come up after free swimming, they prepare chicken, pork, and grilled shrimp on the boat, which is really delicious. We ate it with rice and enjoyed the scenery a little before they dropped us off at Momo Beach again. I highly recommend this tour!!!!!! 👍👍👍

Booked the night before and got a prompt message confirming that full details (pickup time/place) would follow after the booking cut-off. Luckily we were staying near Alona, so we got picked up from our hotel — super convenient! Joiner group of 15, short ride to the port. The tour was smooth and well-organized. We saw dolphins in the morning, swam with sea turtles at Balicasag Island, and enjoyed the scenic views at Virgin Island. Good food on board and the crew was great from start to finish. Highly recommended! Super worth it!

I’m so glad I booked this activity! I was traveling with a senior and my 2-year-old child, so I didn’t book in advance. It was fully booked on 16 Feb 2026, but I contacted the operator directly and they kindly accommodated our last-minute request. Everything turned out amazing. Our tour assistant, Johnmar, was very enthusiastic and even sang live for us. The whole boat crew was kind, helpful, and very accommodating. Special thanks to our guide Jeffrey for helping us take incredible GoPro shots while snorkeling. He even dived deeper to capture a beautiful turtle photo from below. Very professional! The food was awesome — we ate so many shrimps! We also enjoyed swimming before heading to Virgin Island. We completed Dolphin Watching, snorkeling at Balicasag, and visiting Virgin Island. Truly a fun and memorable day! Highly recommended!

Fantastic, we really got to see a large pod of dolphins, and the snorkeling at Balicasag Island was great, lots of fish. The guide was very professional and attentive. This trip was amazing!

So much fun! You can see dolphins and sea turtles, and even snorkel in two different spots. The water around Virgin Island is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit. I recommend renting a GoPro; the guide will help you take photos of dolphins swimming underwater and even bring up starfish for you to pose with. At Virgin Island, you have the option not to go inside; taking photos from the outside is free.
