Meguro River Cherry Blossom Viewing Cruise (Tokyo)

Meguro River is one of Tokyo’s most famous cherry blossom spots, and the ground level can be very crowded. However, on a cruise, you can comfortably admire the famous cherry blossom spots while avoiding the crowds. It’s also perfect for taking photos with the cherry blossoms as a backdrop. Cherry blossom illuminations are only carried out in some areas around Gotanda’s Fureai Mizube Hiroba. Please note that there are no illuminations in other sections. During the cruise, lights installed on the front left and right of the boat will illuminate the cherry blossoms as the boat moves forward.

Cherry blossoms can be enjoyed throughout the season, from when they begin to bloom, to full bloom, and then to "cherry blossom blizzards" after full bloom.

・Beginning of bloom to full bloom: Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms open day by day. ・Full bloom to a few days later: Along with the fully bloomed Somei Yoshino, a magical scene unfolds with petals covering the river surface. At the same time, the weeping cherry blossoms in front of Hotel Gajoen Tokyo also bloom. ・Approximately 1 to 10 days after Somei Yoshino bloom: Yaezakura (double-flowered cherry blossoms) begin to bloom in the Osaki and Gotanda areas. Especially in Gotanda, various types of Yaezakura are at their best.
