For the price we paid, we didn't expect much, and overall it was a decent stay. The hotel is about a 10–15 minute walk from Aljunied MRT station, but the route is straightforward and easy to navigate. The receptionist was friendly and efficient, making check-in quick and hassle-free. The room was clean, and the bathroom was a highlight, with excellent water pressure. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and we never had to wait for the elevator. A hair dryer was provided, which was convenient. The biggest downside was the lack of soundproofing. We could clearly hear people talking in the hallway and footsteps or noise from the room above, especially on Friday nights. The room also didn't have a mini fridge. This wasn't a major issue, but it would have been helpful for storing drinks or ice during the hot summer months. Overall, it's a reasonable budget hotel with good basic amenities, though it could be much more comfortable with better sound insulation and a mini fridge.

Great stay! The location is very convenient and close to the bus station. The room is a little small, but it was sufficient since we were out most of the day. The water refill station was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Thank you! 🥰

Thank you, Hotel 81 Palace, for such a wonderful stay in Singapore! The room was cozy and perfect for couples, making it a comfortable place to unwind after a full day of exploring. The location is also very convenient—easily accessible to MRT stations and bus stops, and close to several tourist spots. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting Singapore!

It looks new & is well maintained. It is located very near to MRT station for convenience.

Staff are helpful. Hotel itself was clean although noise proofing could be greatly improved. Clean room with TV and small ref, towels, shower is heated. I could hear the neighboring room and activities outside. Area has a red light district vibe at night so perhaps not for solo travelers unless that’s your thing. Accessible to bus stops.
