This place is absolutely gorgeous and I felt very safe there. It is an old building so the plumbing is a little slow. No complaints though. Will stay here again.

Literally amazing. As soon as I arrived I was shocked at how beautiful the place was. Will be visiting CDMX again and will be booking here again. Also the surrounding neighborhood is such a pleasure to walk through. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

I had 2 major issues with our stay at this hotel: Firstly, the room cleanliness was lacking. The room had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Dirty carpets, hair in the bathroom, etc. Secondly, twice we had an issue where our room would not lock. One time, we returned from a long day away from the hotel to find that our room could be entered with no room key needed. The fact this happened twice is not acceptable... Furthermore the hotel staff seemed largely unbothered by the issue as if it were a common occurence. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to travelers visiting CDMX

Good

The hotel looks elegant and boasts the beautiful history of the hotel but could use a very good dusting, the rooms are very old and in need of fixing even if they want to maintain that 1900 era style luxury hotel vibe.

Good

The appearance of the hotel seems very antique an impressive; however, the a/c in my bedroom is as very loud. Although, I was moved rooms, the linen was a bit dirty. The staff in general was not super helpful and not really friendly. In fact, in one occasion, due to possibly my appearance, I was approached and asked if I was staying at the hotel. It got me by surprise and no one else was approached or asked if they were staying at the hotel. I was taken back and it made me feel very unwelcome.

The toilet cover keeps falling down. The bathroom light is flickering and takes like a minute to be on. The bathtub’s curtain cannot a block the water. The carpet is dirty. Towels are old and torn. Typically, the hotel lobby is beautiful but the room is needed to be upgraded. Breakfast mostly different types of egg. Beautiful lobby Broken bathroom Food is so-so

Great

Stayed with friends

The location and history of this Hotel makes it a winner. In a super vibrant part of the city and the entrance/hallway make it worth going to alone. The rooms are a bit dated and there is no kettle - for a brit, that's a big thing, however amenities closeby make nothing a disaster. Great little gem of a hotel close by to everything you could want or need.
