I booked two double bed room, i was given one executive king bed. I was not expecting to sleep on sofa bed for 2 nights. Terrible Cell phone reception in my room was zero

I was disappointed with the customer service throughout my stay. From check-in, the staff did not seem welcoming or attentive. At check-out, I was waiting in line while the front desk staff continued chatting with the previous guest about unrelated topics, despite clearly seeing me waiting. When my Uber arrived, I had to interrupt and ask to check out because I was running out of time. The staff simply took my room key without a proper greeting or explanation and did not provide my final folio. It has now been almost a week since I checked out, and despite requesting the folio by email, I have still not received any response. In addition, I prepaid my stay through Expedia, but my credit card was charged $144.82 by the hotel after check-out. According to my reservation, the amount due at the property should have been $91.43. I have repeatedly requested an itemized final folio to explain this charge, but the hotel has not responded. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Phenomenal gem inside of DC. Iconic 104 year old hotel masterfully restored to its glory days. Extremely clean - shower pressure strong! Room on par with most 5Stars. Sabrina from front desk shined like no other I’ve seen and walked me over to set up lunch at Sophia’s restaurant on 1st floor with my friend - recent retired UN Ambassador to Africa - who also Loved the restaurant, the savory seafood delivered to us by Hyuen with a smile and professionalism. Thank you Hyuen and Sabrina. See you again soon on my next business trip !! Jon

Great location in DC. The bedroom and bathroom were really clean. Good value. The food in the restaurant is great! The room had a fridge and a mini bar.

Fantastic
The hotel was very conveniently located, with a short walk to the national mall and museums. Valet parking was very nice, the only issue we had one night we didn’t have hot water for showers. Inconvenient yes but a deal breaker absolutely not. Would definitely stay again.

Our first room that we entered still had somebody’s belonging in it. Expensive luggage. We spoke to the lady at the front desk. She offered dinner on her and that we would get $100 credit. When it was time for checkout, she did not honor what she had said. She said the mill was on us and she would take it out of that 100. Try to discuss this with her and didn’t get very far at first. once I think she realized how many people were around us she said fine. You have your hundred. Or something like that. I have yet to see it. Because of that one incident, I will not stay again. We could have stolen everything in that room and we could’ve also badmouth that situation to everyone. We did none of that. I cannot get anyone to return my phone call so that is why I’m going ahead and negatively doing the survey.
