Stayed with friends · For friends and family

I was impressed with the cleanliness. It was like a dormitory which was a nice eexperience. The staff were always helpful and polite. It was really nuce that you could make your own meals on your own time. Rice eggs cereal toast and noodles.

Fantastic

Solo stay

As a first-time visitor to South Korea, my stay as a solo traveler was very comfortable. The amenities were simple, but it has everything you need, especially in this price range. I appreciated how convenient the hostel was, in terms of access to public transportation, yet also relatively quiet.

Fantastic
Beds are a bit hard and rooms tiny but the staff were immense and everything you need was there or close by.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Perfect for a solo traveler and for people who are on a budget but want somewhere nicer/more private than a hostel. Easy access for great food places and lots of Starbucks in the area for coffee lovers. Line 4 station just down the road for direct trains to anywhere in Seoul. Great place.

Stayed with partner

This was my first time booking accommodation in Seoul, as I usually stay at my family’s house. I didn’t know what to expect before checking into this property, but the experience was disappointing. On the 4th floor, there were 42 extremely small rooms, closets would be a more accurate description. Each measured about 2m x 3m, with no windows, and included a tiny shower. If you suffer from claustrophobia, this setup would be unbearable. The kitchen offered food throughout the day: eggs, bread, cheese, bologna, butter, jam, juice, Coke, 7-Up, Chapagetti, and Samyang ramen. There were some old apples, but once they were gone, the staff said they wouldn’t be restocked from the farm. The biggest issue was the management. At check-in, the manager was overly casual and failed to explain the amenities or house rules clearly. For example, when we washed dishes and left them on the drying rack, he told us we should have put them away. He insisted he had explained this rule, but he hadn’t. His micromanaging style made us feel uncomfortable. We had booked and paid for three nights, but after the first day we decided to move to another hotel as soon as our schedule allowed.

Great

Solo stay

Guesthouse is very affordable for those that are on a tight budget like I was on when I went. The location is great because it is next to so many convenient things like a Daiso or a supermarket. What makes it extra nice is that there is small kitchen to grab a free ramen. The only negative thing I will say is that I didn't enjoy how small the room was and you can hear every little noise from other guests. Overall, if you don't want to pay a lot of money for hotel and still would like a convenient place to stay, then the Snowflower Guesthouse is the right place for you.

Good
No toilet in the room but there was a shower. The room has a weird smell, but overall things were mostly clean. Walls are kind of thin so noisy neighbours can be annoying. Amenities are good though, lots of snacks and coffee, cokes, ice cream, nice lounge area, and good location.
