Ta Van Village tours

It’s an easy and beautiful hike going to three H’mong villages. It took half a day but we didn’t really get tired since there are lots of stops and the weather during December is quite cool. Our guide, Cat, is a local in one of the villages and she is a very proficient self-taught English speaker. She is patient and cheerful. The trip starts at the meet-up (ours was at the Sapa church) and then you walk to the outskirts of the city and Cat will make you choose between the short path or the long path. We were accompanied by other women from different villages and they helped us climb up and down some rocks. They also sell very beautiful handmade H’mong crafts that are waaaay better than what you would find at Sapa City Center. This is one thing you should definitely do when you visit Sapa.

This tour was a great choice for us since it covers major attractions in Sapa. The weather at Fansipan top was amazing on the day of our visit. Our guide Yao is very caring and patiently explain local cultures and stuff. thanks to Yao for a great experience we had. Take note that Fansipan rides (cable car, tram) are not included in the package. overall, this is a wonderful choice! :)

Truly great experience and it's mostly because of our favorite tour guide for our whole trip, Ms. Sumy. She was very informative and loved her pace for the whole tour. We really love her calm yet bright energy! Towards the end, she gifted us handmade bracelets. Our Sapa trip will always be memorable because of her!

We saw beautiful places, you have to be in very good phisycal condition for the tour, we enjoyed is so much. The lunch was lovely, a bit too much food for 2 person. Temperature can change one minute to the other. We were so lucky with the weather 😍

Sapa is definitely a lovely place to visit. The seats of the Dcar passenger van were comfy & made the ride pleasant. We booked the 2D1N 3* hotel & the room was big & clean! The view from the balcony was so beautiful & instagramable! Although it's a 3* hotel, the meals provided were super tasty & hotel staffs were very accommodating too. For trekking to the villages, it was a long downhill hike of 2-3hrs. Tourists with hips or legs problems are not advisable to do this activity. But sceneries of this trekking were totally worth it. Day 2: Fansipan is actually quite a huge place with some performances and stores before going up the cable car/rail to hill top. Although its "summer" time (day temp 25-28°c), the peak was super cold. Thick jackets & long pants are suggested. I'm guessing the temp of the peak was about 10°c with the strong winds & slight drizzle. We were not able to climb up to the buddha statue because it was cold, raining & not enough time. Overall, a wonderful experience!

May was an excellent guide for this tour. it was very well paced, even though it involved 2 very long bus rides to and from sapa. We were treated really well by all the staff at the restaurants, homestays and of course by May. If you love nature and trekking, I highly recommend this trip. Be warned! You will walk a lot and sometimes the trails can be challenging. My tour guide named Khu is such a amazing guide. She made the whole trip fun and enjoyable. I really like her energy and enthusiasm. She’s very knowledgeable, friendly and great with communication. She’s very easy to talk to and make the whole challenging trip feel easy. This is definitely my favorite tour so far thanks to Khu.
