Things to do in Piazza San Marco

It was even more impressive than I expected. Even in Florence's 104-degree heat, the overwhelming view is reason enough to visit Florence again. However, if I come back, I'd definitely try to visit around sunset; that would be even better. *Note*: You must enter on the hour and leave by 45 minutes past the hour.

This street food tour was one of the best experiences I had in Florence! It was the perfect combination of delicious local food, fascinating history, and exploring beautiful hidden corners of the city. He was knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, and had a great sense of humor. Paolo shared interesting stories about Florence, answered all our questions, and made everyone feel welcome and engaged throughout the tour. The pace was perfect, the food was amazing, and the sightseeing added so much value to the experience. I left with a full stomach, a deeper appreciation for Florentine culture, and wonderful memories. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence. If you've come to Florence, I highly recommend booking this tour first, and then proceeding with other Florence tours. Guide Angela was excellent; her explanations were engaging, and she took great photos. Even though I booked the tour alone, I was extremely satisfied. If I get the chance again, I plan to book another tour with her!

The museum isn't very large, and while the main highlights are essentially David and the other statues, it's still quite impressive! The ticket purchase and exchange process itself is very simple; just present your QR code voucher at the ticket counter 15-20 minutes in advance to exchange it for a physical ticket. Entry was also quick; we got in within about 20 minutes after our 3:15 PM scheduled time.

I purchased tickets last minute, two hours before the tour, and joined the guided tour. I've visited several cathedrals in other Italian cities, and each one has its own unique characteristics, which I found very impressive. The guide was very kind.
