it was not a fine weather but we enjoyed it even id there is no sunset in Gaomie Wetlands, we still enjoyed the view. its a chill day. good for seniors or with kids.. for sure, they will truly enjoy this kind of trip

This tour is an affordable package when you want to go outside of Taipei. Peter is an excellent tour guide very accomodating and giving good information/history of Taichung City. Peter has humor and also gives FAQs.

My husband, my mum, and I attended this tour together. Our tour guide was Shine. My husband and I are long-time residents of Taichung and had never heard of the history of Nantun District before, which is what made us interested in this tour. Shine did an amazing job explaining about and showing us the little tidbits of architectural and cultural history that still remain in the area. Our favorite part was comparing old photos to the exisitng streets to see what’s changed and what’s still there today, and also the blacksmith’s forge. We’ll definitely be coming back to buy some gardening tools! I personally also really loved the jute tea. We thought the desserts from 林金生香 WISH LIN 百年糕餅店 were beautiful and bought some cakes from them after the tour to enjoy later with tea.

really enjoyed the taichung tour with our tour guide, libby! she was so nice and accommodating to all of us. during the bus rides to the next locations, she doesn’t fail to give travel advice and information about taiwan. she was also very punctual regarding the itinerary and always made sure we leave on time for the next location. overall, she was such an energetic tour guide and the tour was very pleasant. :)

Guide thoroughly explained the history of the places of interest. However, time spent at the first few places were a little rushed in order to catch the sunset at gaomei. A lot of free and easy time was given at gaomei to take loads of photos of the scenery. Overall fun experience :)
