Sabah Cruises

This was one of the most anticipated parts of our Sabah trip! First, our guide, Xiao Lai, was excellent. He introduced us to a lot of Sabah's culture and attractions along the way, and even helped us take beautiful photos. Throughout the entire trip, we had snacks, afternoon tea, and dinner, so we were constantly fed and never had to worry about being hungry. Next, during the river cruise, we saw wild animals like proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, and lizards. Finally, the highlight was the fireflies. The night sky and the twinkling fireflies in the trees complemented each other beautifully. It was truly stunning! A very worthwhile experience.

originally booked this tour last minute mainly for the fireflies, but due to typhoon they had to cancel it and transfered us to a different tour— Kawa Kawa Tour which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! still with fireflies and river cruise but with additional farm tour with animal feeding and sunset at the beach! i’d like to commend our tourguide Adeor for making this trip memorable and fun! he lets us borrow his binoculars and has prepared raincoats just incase it rains. we were with an elderlu couple and he’s very attentive to their needs and takes photos of the animals just to show them. which is very sweet! he even took great photos and vidoes of the fireflies!

We were able to experience the lifestyles and food of each tribe. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and he shared various stories about Sabah during our travels, so we weren't bored at all.

This is the highlight of my 5-night, 6-day trip to Kota Kinabalu. The wildlife experience was a bit disappointing because I only saw long-tailed monkeys, not the proboscis monkeys I was hoping for. However, the sunset viewing and the firefly cruise at night were truly amazing. It was a beautiful and wonderful experience, including a fantastic fire show. I highly recommend it, even if you're traveling with children, as it's a great experience for them too.

We had an amazing time on our tour. Our guide Sue Yee was very informative and fun, and Max was a very good driver. we saw proboscis monkeys and fireflies, and the fried bananas were a tasty snack!

We had so much fun on the party boat! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The activities were well organized and went smoothly, making the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. The crew and our boat guide were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout the trip. Our kids absolutely loved all the activities and had an unforgettable time. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family, and we created so many happy memories together. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable day out. We would definitely do it again!

We are lucky to have bumped into 2 types of monkies, the long-tailed macaque and the proboscis, though the proboscis is a bit far from sight as they often climb up to the tree top. We are also lucky enough to see the baby crocodile, numerous bird species and even a monitor lizard lying on a coconut tree! The trip is amazing that we do not want to leave the boat! We wish to have more time on the river! Also hope that the raincoat could be included for the tour since when we arrive, it was pouring rain and we have to buy the raincoat from the local store. For other facilities like the toilet, it was better than expected. Food is not bad though not much variety. Tour guide is ok. Overall a good day spent in the countryside of Kota Kinabalu and would recommend to people who love to be in nature and wildlife.

Our tour was a private charter just for the two of us. We had hotel pickup and drop-off, and the facilities were new and clean. Upon arrival, we were even provided with welcome food and drinks. The river cruise boat was also very clean compared to other tour boats, which made us feel at ease. During the cruise, we were thrilled to see wild crocodiles! 🐊 Our guide was truly wonderful; understanding that we were Japanese, they spoke slowly and clearly in English. The sunset was also incredibly beautiful, and we were delighted that our guide took so many photos for us. After returning to the facility, we had dinner. It was absolutely delicious, and we ended up eating too much! Finally, we boarded the boat again for firefly viewing. It was our first time seeing so many fireflies, and we were truly moved by the experience! ✨ It was also a wonderful memory when our guide gently caught a firefly and showed it to us on their palm. From beginning to end, our guide maintained a comfortable distance with us, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time without any stress. Above all, we were touched by their kindness and warmth, which went beyond their duties as a guide. The scenery, wildlife, food, fireflies, and our amazing guide—everything created the best memories. We highly recommend this tour! ✨
