I visited New Elephant Home and had a great experience. This wasn’t my first time visiting an elephant sanctuary. I went to one back in 2022, but this one felt different in a good way. Even though there were other visitors, the experience still felt centered on our group. We were able to learn a lot about the elephants and their lives. The staff made sure to educate us while making the experience enjoyable. Our tour guide T was amazing. You can really see his passion for the elephants. He knew a lot about them and even knew all their names. One thing he shared about what happens to elephants in their final stage of life really stuck with me—I didn’t expect the answer, but it was very meaningful to learn. Overall, it was a memorable visit. I hope more people come and support the sanctuary so these elephants continue to be well taken care of. 🐘

This is once in a lifetime experince! The massive release of the lanterns plus the fireworks moved me in tears! The food in the buffet are delicious. We were lucky enough that it didn't rain. Got a beautiful full moon.

Had an amazing day with Aoun. She organised everything perfectly and she provided lots of insightful information while maintaining a light heart. It was an all day journey, however she ensured we had stops to get drinks or buy some souvenirs. Recommend!

Itinerary: Pick-up from the hotel around 1 PM sharp. The vehicle is air-conditioned and the drive to the park is about 1 hour. After getting off the vehicle, you will be divided into two groups, one with a Mandarin guide and another with an English guide. After placing your personal belongings in a lockable locker, you will change into a Karen traditional shirt. Then, you will receive an explanation of elephant communication language and herbal ball making, after which you can feed the elephants and interact with them for photos (you can ask the guide to help take group photos). Afterwards, you will walk with the elephants in the jungle. At the river, you can apply mud to the elephants and bathe them. After the bath, you will return to the camp for a quick rinse, drink hot tea, and then take the original vehicle to their cafe for refreshments (fried rice, spring rolls, soup, and fruit are available). The cafe is located by the river, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Finally, you will be transported back to your Chiang Mai hotel. Guide: The whole activity is great, the staff are very friendly, and the interaction with the elephants is natural. They do not force the elephants to do anything. In addition, the park also has a baby elephant named Ai Ai, who is not yet three years old, and is very playful and cute.

Think of it as transport not tour. Driver was on time and drove smoothly and let us know when to meet back at the van. Loved checking out the Elephant Poo Paper Park (not smelly at all haha) and the Sticky Waterfall was so cool! The waterfall closed at 430 though so we were rushed by the park rangers near the end. Overall worth it to not worry about transportation.

Took a one-day tour to Doi Inthanon today. My tour guide was Sathaporn Pinkaew. He was amazing, very friendly, funny, and always smiling at us, truly representing the warmth of the Thai people. The itinerary was also very well planned and efficient, and we were lucky to have such amazing weather. A truly memorable trip.

A long day (picked up at 7:30 and back at 8pm) but well worth it. We had not booked to go into long neck village but all the money goes back into the village so we decided to go & it was great. White temple is stunning & loved the black house.

The tour guide was so nice, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Our tour guide was Rainee. I did enjoy the whole tour! I was not expecting that I will have the chance to visit Northern Thailand’s boundary, Golden Triangle via boat, seeing Myanmar, Laos, mountains of Tibet from afar via the Mekong River. For me, this was the most amazing part of the tour! I’ve been to lots pf temples but the White Temple so far is the most fabulous one. I love the blue coconut ice cream we had outside the Blue Temple. The Black Museum features different kids of artwork inspired with black-colored artworks by the Chinese artist himself. The temple has a cool environment outside surrounded by trees and there’s a lake there too. Our lunch was bland or maybe that’s really how Northaern Thai people prepare their food not to make it too salty so that foods served are still healthy. Overall, I enjoyed the whole tour It’s worth the money you paid for. Highly recommended!

The place is spacious with tons of picture-perfect spots. The food included in the package is unlimited and so good! There are plenty of areas to sit and relax, and the event was well organized with numbered seats. Definitely a must-try! Hoping to come back again in the coming years!
