I visited with my 2nd-grade son! Even before we left Korea, he wanted to try the ninja experience, so we made a reservation and came. We had a wonderful time, as they kindly taught us how to throw shurikens, shoot blow darts, and wield swords. My son was so excited that he spilled his drink, but they said it was okay and even prepared another drink for him. Thank you for your kind service :) It was such an enjoyable memory that he said he wants to visit again next time we go to Osaka!
This experience was so fun to do with our two sons aged 4 & 8. The hosts were fantastic and informative, and we had so much fun learning to throw ninja stars, shoot blow darts and use a sword. Our boys loved pretending to play ninjas for the afternoon! To top it off- the tour given around Dontonbori made the entire experience even better as our host became our personal family photographer- taking us to a local shrine, and hidden photographic alleyway, along Dontonbori and of course to see Glico Man. Highly recommend 👌
Staff were full of life, toured the local area in our ninja outfits , found some hidden spots in the alleys to explore - then learnt how to throw the shuriken(star knife) fire a blow dart, and swing a katana - all while having a great time. Would recommend to anyone.
My boyfriend and I visited, and we had such a great time! We chose the 1-hour course, and it felt like a really fulfilling experience. The staff's service and energy were especially amazing! At first, both of us were a bit shy, but the staff's reactions and responses were so good that we were able to enjoy the experience even more. My boyfriend also said that shooting the blow darts and trying out the swords was really fun. We were grateful that they worked hard to explain things in simple words, making it easy to understand even though we don't speak English or Japanese. Thanks to them, we feel like we had an unforgettable experience in Japan.
Absolutely the best!!! The ninja experience instructor is so kind! The location is down an alley, so it feels exclusive, like only those in the know can find it. The entrance isn't obvious with a large sign on the first floor. You go up a steel spiral staircase to the 4th floor and open the door to the ninja cafe. We left our luggage at the hotel in the morning, and it was a great choice to have a cool and fun indoor experience during the hot afternoon. There were about four tables, and only one other group when we were there, so it was pleasant and comfortable. I had changed the experience time to earlier via email, and they replied quickly and kindly. I sent the email translated with Papago in English. My child wanted to eat the shuriken-shaped curry, so we ordered it on the spot. Since they can't handle spicy food, we asked for a mild version, which smelled like black bean sauce and was a generous portion. My training was with a male ninja master. He provided safety training at the beginning to prevent overdoing it, and it was conducted safely. He explained everything kindly, which was great. It was mainly in English, and a young woman could speak a little Korean. We were trained in ninja swords, various types of shuriken, and poison needles, and we were able to practice. There's also a secret room. I spilled a chocolate drink, but the young woman quickly reacted and caught it, saving my phone from getting stained. The instructors were the kindest ever. I highly recommend it to my Korean friends. Thank you.
After our first visit, my child said the ninja experience was more enjoyable than Universal Studios, so we canceled our original plans for the last day and visited again. Since it was our second visit, my child wanted to try more challenging activities. They were able to experience a slightly higher level of activities than on the first day, such as throwing two shurikens at once, throwing shurikens with both hands, shooting darts from a greater distance, and performing a series of katana moves. My child was absolutely thrilled when the instructor praised them, saying they had become a 'ninja master.' The first visit was great, but the return visit was even more satisfying because my child participated with more confidence. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special experience with their child in Osaka.
The location near the Glico sign in Shinsaibashi is very convenient. The staff are very nice and can communicate perfectly in English. We played darts, blow darts, and knives. The staff's instruction was very entertaining, and the children had a wonderful time, completely forgetting to leave!
We visited with my 8-year-old son, who loves ninjas. He really tried his best to communicate with the instructor, who explained things in English, using words he knew, hand gestures, and body language. There were many activities my son enjoyed, such as shuriken throwing, blowgun shooting, learning katana techniques, and experiencing a secret ninja passage. The instructors' enthusiastic reactions made him even more excited to participate. Shuriken throwing seemed to require a bit of caution, but the other activities appeared safe. It was an enjoyable and satisfying experience. My son loved it so much that he said it was the most fun experience he had in Osaka. Thank you, instructors!
This place was amazing! Lots of fun activities for all ages and it’s just a miracle that in just 1 hour, I felt like I was already like a pro ninja! On one of the activities, if someone misses the target, they have us a second chance to regain hope and hit that target. If you want to be a ninja, this is just the right place for all ages. fun family activity. a highlight of our trip to Japan.
I went to a ninja experience cafe in Dotonbori! To be honest, it was even more fun than I expected, and I was completely satisfied. My child was incredibly excited from beginning to end, feeling like a real ninja (haha). The trainers were very cheerful and full of humor. Plus, their English was excellent, creating an atmosphere where even foreigners could feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. My child was praised for having "ninja talent!" and I almost considered sending them off for training and leaving them there (just kidding, of course, but they were that into it). It was a fantastic memory from our trip, and I highly recommend it, especially for families with children! If we come to Osaka again, I'd definitely like to revisit.
